Man Utd starting front 4 last night. Lukaku, Sanchez, Lindegard and Martial.

Now, that's some pace right there. Meant for absolutely feck all.

Pace will give you options which is all good, but it will not be the answer alone.

Absolutely buzzing. I took my daughter to Wembley for the 1st time (She is 9).

After I got the tickets as a supprise I asked her what team she would like to see us against and she replied "man u".

I asked why and she said "because all of my cousins support them and i really want to beat them".

She never usually watches the games on the TV with me but i think she is now hooked.

Thank you Spurs.

P.s they have also broke my losing 2-0 at Wembley curse

What did you expect? Just look at the half time punditry on BT SPORTS they couldn't wait to discredit Eriksen's goal because Kane's big toe was in the Utd half a millisecond before the ball was kicked!
You just know if it was the other way around no one would have mentioned it.

As well as the best centre forward in world football, Tottenham possess one other trump card: at peak performance, only Manchester City have a higher ceiling. The home games against City and Chelsea last season and the home victories over Liverpool, Real Madrid and United this campaign showed as much. There are games when everything clicks and opposition teams cannot touch them. There are valid arguments about Tottenham’s consistency and stomach for the fight in April and May, but that doesn’t change the fact that, on their day, this team can teach anyone a lesson.

Maybe because only Sanchez was up for it. If I were him, I'd be thinking the old Polish saying: I've swapped an axe for a stick.
And poor old Fellaini :ROFLMAO:
That made Martin Jol's Hossam Ghaly substitution within the limits of reason :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Jose underestimated us and had a touch of arrogance in his team selection - to only have Pogba and Matic in midfield was suicide but he honestly thought they were good enough to match Dier and Dembele who absolutely bullied them off the park all game.

Shout out to Eric dier as well. He abused and hounded anybody who came within 5 metres of him

This is what Eric Dier does well when he is at his best. He dominated those around him, forcing them to move the ball quickly and make a mistake as if they held onto it for too long he was going to clatter them.

Really controlled aggression too, you can't play against it as he is never at risk of getting sent off so you know that every time you get the ball you are in for it. Must be pretty intimidating.

Just watching match again, at the pen now, shocking call from Mariner, through player 1st to get ball, pen every day of the week, that happened other side no doubt he would have blew.
He gave a freekick to Utd a few minutes later for the same type of challenge from one of our players (can't remember who think it was Dier). Very weak ref, usually is poor when he refs us.

The problem for them is if he went 4-3-3 Lukaku would have been isolated and he wouldn't have a support striker or no10 to help him out and the ball would have kept coming back to them, Lukaku's hold up play is shit so it makes sense to have a player running off behind him.

Reckon Mourinho thought he's just overwhelm us with attacking players and that front 4 looks scary on paper but we weathered the storm and the early goal meant they were always chasing the game.

It's a lesson to those who think that Arsenal with their magical front four or whatever are going to start putting teams to the sword, doesn't work like that, just like Utd didn't do last night you have to get the balance right.

Bale couldn't win a free towards the end of his time here, hope Alli doesn't end up like that, cuz it was BS Bale getting the shit kicked outta him and it not being called up.

Could become a problem for Dele, but it's of his own making. If Messi hit the deck every time a player brushed into him he wouldn't be 20% of the player he is by staying up and ploughing on.

Dembele deserves a lot of credit too. The media have been all over him saying that he's escaped punishment and he picked up an early yellow card last night. Howeveer, he still managed to put in a very physical performance without ever getting close to a 2nd caution.
