Masterclass. The most obvious difference tonight was no sideways passings. We looked to go forward at every opportunity. Not sure if united made it that way or was a conscious decision to be more incisive.

That's very precise. Based on his previous 17,087 efforts, you're stating that 12,815.3 were "top shit"? Don't want to put you to too much trouble on a Sunday, but which one was the 0.3? Genuinely interested to know if it contained a brilliant intro, but lacked something in explanation and conclusion, or vice versa. Of course, also possible that only the middle bit was "top shit"?
i apologize for the confusion as i should have been more specific, 0.3 represents the margin of error in the very scientfic and complex method i used to measure the percentage of @Shadydan 's posts that carried the "top shit" factor.

I would explan the reasoning behind the method but you have to have a R and M fan level of intelligence otherwise it's a complete waste of time. Hope this explanation leaves you with some form of comfort and was worth your cheeky post, cheers.

Love poch to bits but tactics didn't win this game.
Early goal helped, second killed them and we had more desire after that.

in all seriousness well done to poch, i honestly believe he should get the most credit for this win. He had the lads swarming and full of desire from the start.

With our next 3 games being United Liverpool Arsenal. Every single combined xi will have more spurs players against all 3 of those teams. If we were to fail miserably would people start to question Poch? Not saying sacked but seriously question. Honestly interested to know peoples feelings.
No, have you seen our record against those clubs? It's not very good and we don't have a divine right to beat them.

Really? To me it looked like we very deliberately pressed them a lot more than in previous games, and their defence/midfield couldn't cope. Jones and Smalling in particular aren't comfortable on the ball and our tactics seeked to exploit that. Not to mention the fact our kick off routine was straight off the training ground.

Obviously put a rocket up the players arse after Newport and spot on tactics from the boss, great response from the lads.

He's Magic.

Outclassed mourinho this eve.. let's hope he gets the tactics right for Liverpool. . We can do them in if we set up correctly

Maybe you should take over for this one game - just to get us set up right - then Poch can get back in the saddle for Newport?

New Contract, this is what we all need now, 10 years or longer.

I have no desire to see anyone else manage Tottenham in my life, it is beyond results for me, the man is a god.

Mauricio Pochettino on football: 'Every conversation, action, my life, my passion'

"My life is 24 hours talking about football. For me it is every conversation, every action. It is my life, my passion."

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is one of the most highly rated managers in world football.

He is a likeable guy. Hopes he stays a long time. He is building a culture not just a team.

Chuck him a new, very long term deal. It's easy to underestimate the importance to players of a stable manager. Lose Poch and it all falls to shit in my opinion.

He has his failings like anyone, but he's young and will only improve.

I could understand the lure of Madrid but he'd be nuts to go there. Zidane wins back to back CL's and is seemingly heading for the spanish archer. Ridiculous.

He's got the opportunity to create a whole club in his image and become an icon here. I hope that is explained to him on a daily basis.

It's very easy to underestimate how well coached we are and how our cohesion stems from that. It should be needless to say, but chuck (as an example) Alderweireld and Wanyama into the Arsenal team with their shambles of a defensive structure, and they would probably look closer to Mustafi and Xhaka in terms of quality than many would think.

We don't have anywhere near the money of the other clubs, but what do we have.

We have possibly the best manager in the world.
