On the contrary, you are underestimating him. He is surely super-rested and buzzing from energy.
That would be good but I was of the persuasion of giving him a chance to settle before we see the best of him, but I take your point maybe he will hit the winner in the 90th minute Sunday(y)

Ha! I can see it now. He won't be in the next few squads and fans will start saying Levy has bought a player Poch didn't want or some shit
I think Levy deserves a lot of credit for this signing, this is a very unlike levy signing

I know people say the market is inflated but he has spent £25m on a player that hasnt played any football this season, which is a lot all things considering. Of course you could say we wouldn't be able to buy him if he was playing

That said I think its a great signing and finally have a real right sided player to play in the 3

I believe he has had only 6 starts all from the bench so he certainly won't be up to full match sharpness yet plus the physcality of the EPL it will take him a while to adjust.
What? He has had 6 starts all from the bench?

Balls to that! He can hit the 4th in a 4-0 win.

Edit - brainfart alert, brainfart alert - thought you were talking about the goons!

so many brazilians posting on spurs insta, think he could be the player that really launches us as a club in Brazil in getting our name out with future players
Our name was already growing with the fans when I lived there. Saw our shirts being sold in the sports stores. But yeah that's the next step.

Moura gives us great options and hopefully will add a new dynamic to our play in the last third and on the counter too.

Lloris
Aldereiweld---Sanchez---Vertonghen
Aurier------------------Wanyama-----------------Rose
Moura-----Eriksen-----Dele
Kane

Note - I am not saying this is our best line up, but just an example of where Moura may fit in (would be harsh to drop Son on current form).
Dier can rotate in for the back 3 and Wanyama.
Davies and Trippier can rotate for Aurier / Rose
Winks and Dembele can come in for, or play alongside, Wanyama
Sissoko can run about in one of the three AM positions.
Son can start in any of the front 4 positions
Llorente can deputise for Kane.

With the exception of Kane you can take any two players out of the team above and not really weaken it due to the quality of the squad and flexibility in terms of Poch's tactics and formation.

TBF I think he allows us to go 4231 without the fear of being too narrow

So sounds like he won't be in the squad Sunday as he's back in Paris. Bit disappointing - but I guess he doesn't have enough minutes to be considered 'Poch Fit' let alone Match Fit. Was hoping he'd come on in the last 10min to terrorise that static Liverpool defence.

I hope we all give him time to adapt. Look forward to something different from Lucas!

He’s actually on his way home now but yeah I doubt he’ll be in it. Not even trained with the squad yet

Annoyed he's not playing on sunday, could have come on for the last 10 minutes. Batshuayi started for Dortmund tonight...

Aurier talking about trying to convince Lucas to play for Spurs.

“I’m happy. I’m really happy to have him here. I spoke a lot to him before his arrival and I reassured him. I think he made the right decision. He had other opportunities, but I think it’s the best choice for him and for his career.
I told him it’s an ambitious club, a beautiful club with a really good team. I think he was looking for somewhere where he could have fun again and he has come to the right team.
It’s a spirited group here, which is not afraid of welcoming new players and in that regard I know what I’m talking about. So he simply made the right choice and now I just hope he’s going to adapt as quickly as possible.”

Poch said at the moment he’s not thinking that he’ll play, but Lucas could breeze into his first training session tomorrow and wow everybody, and he’ll think, why not stick him on the bench...

Can't believe we were worried about the impact Serge would have on the dressing room. He's quickly becoming one of my favourites, and it's good to see him talking so positively about life at Spurs. I think he will wear the armband one day.

Poch's man management seems unreal. He looked past Serge's reputation and judged him on his character alone. Now Serge is on the phone to his old teammates convincing them to join us instead of our bigger, more glamorous rivals.
