Doesn't that play into a counter-attacking strategy though?
It can but it also lets them recover quicker and win the ball much higher up the pitch than we do. They'll want to win and counter during our transition.

Poch not learning.

How do you know?

With that team we could be playing the exact same system as we did against them last time

It could be the 5-3-2 with dele and eriksen in CM, as before, and then just dembele and Davies in place of aurier and winks due to injury

No Rose on the bench is surprising. Would have had him there in case Davies struggled. Obviously for Sissoko.

Hoping that lineup is 3-5-2 with Eriksen and Dele helping out Dembele.
With wing-backs playing it sensibly: 5/4/1when defending; force them central, fight and win the ball and blitz counter.

If we play a straight 4231 I can't see it going our way.

Team we all expected. COYS!

Front three aside, their team is average. We can win this.

I love Poch but today he has shown is is too stubborn for the team’s own good.

Trippier over Aurier is an absolute joke, it’s going to be a blood bath.

I'm worried if it's 4-2-3-1 we're playing.

I'd rather we go 3-5-2. Play Dembele alongside Dele and Eriksen and take some defensive responsibility off the full backs.

Think i'd have been more conservative away at Anfield personally - this game is destined to be as open as Pool-City was and I really don't think we want to end up in a contest like that.

That being said, we go in with confidence and we'll undoubtedly cause them problems but still have concerns over a Dier-Dembele partnership, especially away at a top 6 rival but we'll soon found out.

Davies at left back, surely there's no chance we are going to play a high line....surely!
