Other than their front 3 nothing to fear in that pool side imo. Pepper their goal as often as possible with Karius in goal. Uniteds front 5 the other night looked terrifying pre game so hopefully similar story today. COYS!

I must admit i would rather we tried to shut up shop and play like Man Utd generally do away from home against the other top 6 teams.
Our away record against these teams is awful so surely it should show potch that maybe playing in a slightly less attacking manner might be a better option in these games.

Is this the aurier who's just back from injury?

I presume you'd also be complaining if aurier came in a bit rusty and say it was stupid to bring him back in such a big game?

No I wouldn’t, he’s only missed a week.

If he’s fit enough for the bench then he should start.

I never moan about the line up but this is so fucking naive from Poch.

This is the one fixture aside from the goons, that I really hope we smash! Can’t stand their “the world owes us” mentality. The absolute love in they have with media! Seen the pundits on today? Underlines what I say!..... and that yellow toothed gurning German twat! From
Top to bottom! Despise that **** of a football club!

I don't think that pace at fullbacks position is so important if we are going to sit deep and counter attack. After Wednesday that is pretty understandable lineup. I think this is the first time this season that we put the same team in two games in row.

We were so outstanding against UTD that it would have been harsh to drop anyone.

I'm sure (hope) there'll be a more cautious approach but I'm feeling confident.

Where are all those players?...It was mentioned this week that it was the first time we had all the first team fit for selection. It makes you wonder who the first team are.

No reason for us to go there and swashbuckle when we know how effective we can be at pressing and hitting on the break.

just let them have it the first third and press them hard beyond there, win it and fuck them.

They won't stop attacking all day; we know that.

Use that against them.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume that Aurier isn't fit enough to play the full 90 and starting Trippier is out of necessity, not a huge mistake Poch is making. Intentionally starting Trippier against Liverpool is suicide.

Shocked that he doesn't put Moura on the bench. Picture this: Away to liverpool, 8 minutes to go, 1-1, who would you like to see come on?

If it's any consolation for those who think we've already lost a game that hasn't been played yet, their fans are pretty pissed off with their selection aswell

Thnk poch wants to keep the winning vibe from the last game. If we go straight 4231, don't think it's wise.

I think pool will win out in a straight shooting match at home - they are more clinical than us.

I think only Sanchez has come into the team soon after joining since poch's been here (iirc?).

Likes to settle them in a bit, doesn't he.
