Liverfools are not clinical by any means. They have chances but they also are lacking that final ball.

Chaotic so far. And not good individually or tactically. Defence is looking nervy and making soft errors, ditto in midfield, and up top there's a lack of work and fight to try and claw a foothold up the pitch. Tactically with the ball we are just not coping again with the fast pace, and we are playing into the pressing traps they are employing instead of certain players being able to take responsibility for themselves. Our shape is just confusing and I don't really get what we're trying to do, Liverpool don't want us coming through the centre, so we've put all our players there......

Needs to be much better in the second half, a modicum of control would be a start.

If Wanyama was last year's Wanyama and not whatever out of shape jumble of a player he's been this year I would hot swap him for Dier and go again... but alas he is not so I am not sure what change I would make.

Need to put lube gloves Karius under more pressure.

Really think Liverpool are there for the taking today but we're doing our usual nervous wreck performance away at top team again. So many stupid errors and misplaced passes, it's ridiculous. Sanchez looks very young today. I'd get Wanyama on for Dier at half time and swap Son and Dele's position on pitch.

Think we've been more competitive than we usually are at this ground I guess.

Both centre backs all over the place, especially Sanchez. Like he's trying to play football in roller blades. He needs coaching from ledley, he goes to ground too much

Lovely deft little through ball to salah by dier

This is why a lot of us were saying not to start the same eleven, different games require different approaches and tactics.

That said we're doing OK, but the psychological factor of playing at Anfield is too much for some, Sanchez in particular looks so rattled.

I was hoping we’d approach this how we did Real Madrid away. No chance. Lloris’ interview this morning did Klopp’s team talk for him.

We're getting overrun by Liverpool. Their high pressure is giving us a hard time keeping the ball and we're making dodgy passes which also led to 1-0.. I want Lamela for Son and Wanyama for Dier COYS

So we need subs at half time, will have to wait till 70 mins no doubt

Why do we "need" subs? I want them but I'm not sure you can argue we "need" them. Apart from a few self-inflicted wounds we've largely controlled the game without ever looking very potent in attack (good set up by klopp) - but we aren't removing son, Alli, Kane or Eriksen are we?

Can't make changes just for the sake of it and not sure what the "glaring" hole is.

Yes playing out from the back so frustrating.... play the long ball every noweek and then.. take their press out of the equation
I am in no way surprised by this game and result so far. Classic Spurs, playing completely into their hands.

I wish we had a red button option for commentary/coverage specific for each team. It’s agonising watching sky cream themselves over such a horrible club.

Don't want Eriksen picking up the ball in our half facing our goal, he's not comfortable with it and he gets bullied off it quite easily. Also it negates our attack. We need to change something but not at the expense of opening ourselves up, Liverpool got 3 quick goals against city early in the second and we need to avoid the same outcome. Get to 70 mins and then I think you can go for it a bit more.

We've really been our own worst enemies today. So many individuals errors in our own half. I wouldn't mind so much if Liverpool were forcing us into mistakes but they're not. It's purely down to us being sloppy.

Typical big game away performance from us. Lackluster, error strewn and completely second best.

No way are we getting anything out of this game.
We got the class to turn this around one goal is just that. They all need to grow a pair and step up, is all.
Saying that lol it’s got a ‘Spursy’ ‘follow up to a great performance’ feel about it so far.
