Bloody hell. The rollercoaster that only sport can provide. Claw our way back into the game after a terrible start, finally manage to get ourselves back level in blockbuster fashion, and then it all kicks off.... Thinking we've well and truly thrown it away in the space of seconds, with the missed penalty and then awful awful defending, but still one more twist to go.......

I'll take a point, we did well to battle back into it but such a helter-skelter and some proper rubbish for large spells of the game. Onto the next one.....

Tbh if we score the first pen, we win that! Nonetheless, a draw was the best i expected. Glad Kane shut a few in here up by getting the second on point!

I do not understand the argument that because Van Dijk didnt mean to kick the shit out of Lamela it isnt a pen, which is what the studio commentators are saying now.

Not sure about that.

We set up poorly and got hammered in the first half

But fair play to Poch, he changed the formation for the second 45 and we salvaged a point (and should have won the game)

Just a shame we didn't have a better game plan going into the fixture

Someone needs to remind the commentators, experts, pundits that Liverpool had an extra day of rest, they played Huddersfield while we played Man United and they were at home. In what world are they looking tired because of their midweek exertions.

Sanchez lived down to Mourinho's criticisms. I have been very impressed by Davies, but he should not have dived in like that. Lamela saved us there by going down; Van Dijk knew he'd screwed up. That was a brave penalty take by Harry, but he wasn't good this game.

I just don't understand why Bradley Wiggins has gone with the Skoda 4x4 when he owns the Octavia estate car which would be so much more aerodynamic with bikes on top.

The second pen was a banker. NBC sports are miles off the mark. They're right about the first one - offside before Kane was 1-on-1.

I think Lloris can be blamed a little for Salah's second. He's lying on the ground way too early there. Kinda like when he's fallen backwards close up against Alexis Sanchez against Arsenal away

But that would've felt bloody awful if we got nothing.

Great second half, two points dropped though:whistle:
