Klopp massively rattled haha.

Sky did a good job explaining the big decisions were correct.

Decades of getting decisions in your favour doesn't mean they were wrong on the day.

Klopp - LOL what an idiot....

Seeing Kane first penalty though - AHHHHHHHHHHHH that was so unlike Kane but anyway point at Anfield is brilliant after that first half, very happy with that

Just beat Arsenal next weekend now please and 7 pts from those 3 games would be brilliant and put us right in race for top 4.

It was nothing short of shocking. Thank Christ we pulled it out of the fire.

Verts should come in for a lot of criticism too. Stepped out when he should have stepped to the ball. To be fair, they were all afraid to make contact in case a peno was given and ended up conceding the goal.

Haven’t read any of this thread, but I have to say that is one of the best, most intense matches I’ve ever seen.

First half our defence was a disaster. All over the place, giving the ball away, succumbing to their pressing. We were lucky to go in just one down.

Second half, though, we murdered them, absolutely bossed it, we were excellent even though we suffered from some of our usual problems in attack - ie, a bit one paced, a few too many touches.

What a player Salah is, and what a player Kane is to bury that second penalty.

What a match!

Why doesn't the interviewer tell Dame Edna that Lovren touched the ball for the first penalty, who is this idiot, Jeff Shreeves ?

i admitted i was wrong for saying the squad were legends in this game because they proved me wrong in the end, but when i posted what i said, at that exact moment of time they were legends, hence why i stand by my original statement
At that exact moment in time they weren't playing well and we were losing. "At that moment in time they were legends". They are either legends or they aren't, it isn't like a headache or testicular itch that comes and goes..... I'm not sure it works like that. In fact I'm certain of it. But if those are your onions, then those are your onions :D

See, I get that, but he still started offside didn’t he? The ball was meant for Harry, imo Lovren’s touch doesn’t mean anything.

Maybe I need to get with the times!

Notice how Carragher just slagged off Lovren for it? Wonder if he does the same with golden balls Dyke who was absolutely to blame for the second one that cost them the win. Lovren played better than Dyke.
That's the difference. He's then not offside, when Lovren's touch plays him in.

75m for that piece of shit defender. Fuck off liverpool

Until that kick at Lamela, Van Dijk was the best player on the park, along with Vertonghen and Salah. He's already transformed Liverpool's defensive organisation. They left spaces all over midfield, but every time we approached the box, 6 or 7 Liverpool players would converge in a second or two to clog up the area, all marshalled by Van Dijk, who would usually be the one to clear any danger.

Officials got all the crucial decisions right.

The second pen was a banker. NBC sports are miles off the mark. They're right about the first one - offside before Kane was 1-on-1.

I think Lloris can be blamed a little for Salah's second. He's lying on the ground way too early there. Kinda like when he's fallen backwards close up against Alexis Sanchez against Arsenal away

Everyone might reasonably have thought that Kane was offside for the first penalty. It was only well after the final whistle that we found out what the big debate was about: Lovren touched the ball on the way through to Kane, playing him onside.

I don't think anyone should be "blamed" for Salah's second goal. You don't "blame" defenders when Messi scores one of those and this was in that class.

Put simply, Liverpool shot their load in the first half

It certainly looked like that. They hounded and pressed and hunted in packs, just as we did last Wednesday, but they started to flag after about 55 minutes and we progressively took over the game. There aren't many teams out there that are fitter than Tottenham.
