Is this new math ir something or is this part of anither conversation because winning 1 and losing 1 out of every 2 matches only gets you 57 points. A win and a draw out of every 2 grts you to 76.

No it's new arithmetic. but .......
 wonder why others haven't picked this up:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

I feel this is true of most modern midfielders unless they are ball winners, so I’m surprised to see that there hasn’t been more of a shift to 433/ 4141. Guess that’s why City are storming it.

I actually think both Dele and Eriksen would excel in that role, potentially as a partnership with Dier or Wanyama as an anchor.

Dembele is an odd one, he’s almost an 8/4.

I think Eriksen pretty much plays as an auxiliary CM most games. He’s almost invented a new role - a false 8 - he’s getting through more ball than our cm’s some games.

I think Alli can do it, in a CM3 with the right players in there, but not to the level of Eriksen. Both of those are really AM's that can do a job as 8's. Not really Cm's (though both have played as Cm's in previous lives (MK and Ajax).

I don't think the rule applies to all non pure DM's necessarily, but I agree many 8's are more suited to playing in a CM3 system. Jenas would have been outstanding in a CM3 IMO.

I think Pogba IMO is one of those very unique players that can really only play one role, but if you play him in the correct application he's absolutely world class. He needs to be played in a CM3, in either a 433 or 352.

Deschamps made the same mistake at the Euros - in fact he made it even worse by playing Matuidi not Kante with Pogba in a CM2 and playing Sissoko ahead of them.

Alli seems to get a pasting by every teams fans these days-they all hate him which I absolutely love

I agree with this but the only downside is that if he builds up so much hate, he’s going to find it hard when he plays for England and makes a mistake or bad tackle etc. The fans and media will come down really hard on him, much like Beckham against Argentina. In turn, it could ruin his club form - or it may be the making of him, like, erm, Beckham.

He’s very likeable off the pitch but I don’t think other fans care. They just see him as a ****. He’s one early red card away for England in a major tournament from being public enemy number 1.

And I get the feeling from the media that they would relish this happening.

Of course they would.

The ideal tournament for the press would go like this:

Our best player gets injured in the weeks before, and it's touch and go if he'll make it.
There's a leak from the training camp that the players aren't happy with the manager.
Some players get caught out on the lash a couple of days before the first game. It would be even better if a married one was caught with another woman...and better still if someone got arrested.
We lose the first game against a proper minnow with "superstar" getting sent off.
We beat Brazil in the second game.
We scrape a 1-0 against Scotland. There's a fight and two players from each side get injured and/or sent off.
More rumours of unease in the camp. Apparently the captain and senior players are staging a revolt.
We smash Italy or Argentina 4-0 in the 2nd round.Same "superstar" gets sent off for something really stupid in the 89th minute.
Lose on penalties to Germany in the quarters. Two players miss by miles.
Squad pictured smiling and laughing the next day.
A couple of players get caught with prostitutes.
The manager gets sacked a couple of days after the tournament finishes.

Anyway, that's way off topic. I haven't checked, but based on previous years, our opponent's fans will be saying:

"Eh, eh, we're the greatest and Spurs are shite, mate, I'm telling you, we'll batter 'em, mate. 6 or 7 nil, easy. That Harry Kane- he's shite, mate, wouldn't get in our team. And he's going to Madrid in the summer anyway. That'll teach that small club their place, thinking they can have good players. But he's shite, VVD will have him in his pocket all game, you'll see mate, eh. Eh?
7 or 8 nil, I'm calling it now. Klopp's a genius mate, he'll have this. That Pochyteeno isn't in the same league. 8 or 9 nil, I can see Henderson getting a hat trick in this one. That Vertigreen's the worst defender in the league, we should target him. I'm telling you mate, this could be double figures. Fuck it, I'm putting my giro on it. 10 nil."

There are two schools of thought on RAWK at the moment.

One poster writes:

"I haven't seen us dominated like that at Anfield in ages. We looked like a mid-table La Liga side playing away at the Camp Nou."

(y)

All the others are writing something along the lines of this post

"Bent ****s

Still above yous. Fuck off."

Just been on Twitter, 100s of Liverpool fans who don’t understand the offside rule ....I give it 2 hours before rumours start circulating about a secret memo where a top spook admits the rules were changed to “bring down” Liverpool

Best part is this all happened under Moss' refereeing. Tonight on top of the Mane sending off against City (which I TOTALLY thought was a red card offense), he may just be Public Enemy No. 1.

From BBC.

Luke: Spurs have fast become the most weak and pathetic team in the league. They go down under every challenge, foul or no foul. Alli and Kane great at leaving a dangling leg and just flopping to the ground under zero contact.

Had to laugh
From Rawk

That was a penalty on lamela as he’s been kicked in the leg and vvd didn’t win the ball.

Lamela is a fucking cheat for playing the game like that, but he’s known for that kind of thing. He deserves to have his teeth smashed out, the underperforming sack of shit.
