Can people please stop calling this current side legends. Yes we sometimes play shit (especially away to top 6 rivals) and for various reasons, thats football.

But one thing this side doesn't lack is bottle

i honestly didn't believe we would get an equaliser, i wish i had more faith in the team but past experiences vs the big teams away from home led me to think we were in for the same sinking feeling

oh come on - you just knew Vic would come to the rescue didnt you?

Could easily see Chelsea and United start to scupper a bit. They just don't look to have that "it factor" this season, in my opinion. That could obviously change for United when Sanchez finds his feet a bit more, but there seems to be a more deeply-rooted problem for Chelsea.

I haven't seen replays of the first, but ultimately its irrelevant, it was missed and Liverpool benefited from it, it got the fans behind them, served to startle our team and give them the momentum they needed for the second goal. If the penalty was never called I'm pretty sure the game would most likely of continued in its rhythm, namely us searching for a second goal, Liverpool holding on.

Similarly there is a myth in the game that contact = foul, when actually you can foul someone without making contact and similarly not foul them while making contact. The question is simple, did the goalkeeper play the ball? No. Did the goalkeepers actions prevent Kane from getting the ball? it did, then its a foul. The exception of this rule is when you Sheppard the ball, but I guess this is allowed because it is deemed that the defender is in control of the ball, even if they haven't touched it.

The only question with the second penalty is did Lamela intentionally run into the defenders shin? I can see why from the replays you can interpret that, particularly from close up. But from most angles Lamela's intention is to gain control of the ball and positioning him in a position where he can either pass or shoot towards goal. Again, in this case Van dyke, who was trying to play the ball, before backing out, caught Lamela without playing the ball and prevented Lamela from receiving the ball.

I think the first half was pretty even. We conceded but still kept playing and was pretty 50/50. Then second half was about 90/10 in our favour, so I can see Poch's point

That was a terrible first penalty, if you're going down the centre you have to slow it up, actually give the keeper chance to dive out the way, or at least hit it higher.

You can't play like Liverpool did in the first half for 90 minutes.

We've all seen it, Souness has just verified it.

Insightful that Karius has just said he knew Kane went to the middle in big games. Then, V right footer, you would go left, which is what happened.

It came off Wijnaldum before Lovren touched it.

But the ball travelled before hitting wijnaldum and lovren, Kane was in an offside position, the linesman should have flagged before the ball hit wijnaldum, doesn’t really matter as we missed the pen

The win would of been amazing, but the draw is a massive result. Remember, this was a huge 6 pointer away from home where we have a terrible record.

The second half performance was exceptional and I think there glossing over it too much, but we're evolving into a real top side now. Redknapp doesn't like it either, stands out a mile.

Beat the Goons next week, and 7 points from 9 is a fantastic return in this make or break period.

Win next week and i think we'll finish top 4. It's hugely pivotal for me.

Please lets rest Kane, Dier, Verts, Dembele Son and Eriksen for the Arsenal match

Dele may as well play as he still looks like he needs to find some form!
