On a proper pitch and with the goons in mind I think we should be resting the majority of starters for the weekend.

I'd go with.

Aurier, Toby, Foyth, Rose

Winks, Wanyama

Sissoko, Lamela, Son

Llorente


Tempted to start Wanyama to get him more minutes but he may have booked a start against the scum after his cameo today.

If they can't get the job done by 60 minutes then we have some star names on the bench in case of emergencies...

EDIT: Forgot Moura can't play... So Vic in for him and Push Sissoko up to the three behind Llorente.

Id make changes but still have the likes of kane and eriksen on the bench just encase

The bottom line is that even a second eleven should be far too strong for Newport on a nice big pitch which isn't cut up to fuck.Toby needs the minutes.

As long as there's no Kane/Eriksen, and Toby/Wanyama are given 60 min ahead of a start against Arsenal I don't care.

Even our weakest of second XI's should beat these.

Want both Victor and Harry to get proper minutes under their belt. Victor has been in and out and thus inconsistent but today showed that he's our rock in midfield.
We will need winks for the CL/league matches coming up because dembele isn't playing all of them and I think winks might actually be a better starter in some for those games where we need to move the ball around with a high tempo.

Pretty much the same line up as everyone else is posting so I won't put it up again.

Bench: PG, Dier, KWP (to come on for the second half as I want aurier to start on the weekend), TOB/Skipp, Sterling, Eriksen, Bennetts
