I saw one of the 'trending' notes on Sky Sports news this morning, that Van Dyke is accusing Kane of diving for the first penalty.

I'd just like to ask Van Dyke how many times, hand on heart, as a central defender...has he fouled an opposing striker inside his own box and not been penalised for it with a penalty? In other words, how many times in his professional career has he cheated the ref and gotten away with it? Pots and kettles.

Just shut the fuck up you twat.

I think they're trying to encourage the FA to investigate in the hope he gets a ban.
Seems a case of "Can't win fair so we'll try and hinder the opposition."

A bit annoying that there were so much controversy regarding the pens. Would've liked some of the more sane pundits to say something about performance in that second half, where we managed to pin Liverpool in their own box for 45 minutes without giving away chances on the counter.

But now it's all about the penalties.

I want more coverage of that glorious 'thunderbastard' from Wanyama. Had to be one of the hardest strikes of the season.

Would have knocked out some salty scousers if the net hadn't got in the way

Kane’s response to vvd saying that should be

‘He’s just got the hump because I mugged him off so many times when he was at Southampton’.

Vvd is just trying to take the heat off himself and get himself extra points with the Liverpool fans because they all believe what they want to believe over there and nothing will change their minds. It’s weird and embarrassing. Try slagging off Dalglish to a scouser and they’ll react like you’ve killed their family. It’s just my experience but the only ones you can have decent conversations with are the ones who aren’t from Liverpool. Closed mindedness at its worst.

two things firstly I watched or listened to several outlets regarding the game and what stood out was the unequal bias in pundits I heard or watched or listened to jenas(one)Lawrence;rednapp who is in no way spurs as he is Liverpool thru and thru as is another voice I heard namely p.walsh then carrager and Souness thompson ; phil Babb I make that seven to one .Do these figures sound like a fair split pundits? Also I am angry that the officials have shown there bias in helping big clubs i.e spurs beat the little club i.e Liverpool He He He

Dear dear merson, nobody ever left your scummy club to strengthen another did they, sanchez being the latest. The bilge he has written here again, god his hatred for us is an obsession. Drink and gambling took a hold on his life, his personality is flawed, he is an obsessive and we're his obsession. Just imagine what his waking day must be like!

What's funny is that Liverpool actually don't know the rules. Both Klopp and Lovren are oblivious to the fact that a deliberate touch by Lovren means Kane can't be offside. Klopp said post match that Kane was clearly offside yet in the media room when it was explained he said he didn't know that was the rule. Lovren just said he didn't understand the rule. Van Dijk claiming Kane dived is just desperate because he knows it wasn't offside so it must be a dive instead.

All of which is a cows opinion anyway. We missed that penalty and that moment actually swung the momentum in Liverpools favour. They got a lift from it and actually scored when they had created so little in the 2nd half. The second penatly which was a stone wall one just saved us from an undeserved defeat. A draw was the least we deserved. If Kane scored the first penalty I don't think Liverpool would have got back in it. They should be thankful for a draw.

Thankfully the officials didn't bottle it like they often do. They got it right between them this time. The biggest mistake was the ref said to the linesman that he didn't know that Lovren touched the ball yet gave the penalty anyway after speaking to the fourth official. I'm not sure how the ref didn't see the touch from Lovren but thankfully the 4th official saw it. It was an identicial one to Liverpools first goal so it was good we got the decision too.

His Son is a Spurs fan, Le Tizz comes to see us quite a lot with him. I think he has a soft spot for us, met him in Rudolphs at WHL once, blinding geezer

Le Tissier was a Spurs fan as a boy too. Almost joined us (in the Venables era) but changed his mind as his wife didn't want to move.

That's correct. He was the after dinner speaker last year at a sportsman's evening I attended and he said just that. He had actually agreed terms, transfer fee was also agreed and his wife at the time didn't want to move... The rest is history

What's with these fucking media outlets peddling ex Liverpool players out to give their "opinions" and surprise surprise say they weren't penalties. Can we just for once see a spurs player. Like if they had Mido or Berbatov just sitting there puffing a fat cigar and saying, "yeah, definite penalty"

Absolutely, and just to put the tin hat on it, watching Sky Sports conducting all sorts of autopsies over the refereeing decisions have concluded that John Moss was absolutely right in awarding both penalties, and that Kane was NOT offside when he collected the ball just before the penalty was awarded as the ball came off the idiot Lovren's foot before it reached Harry's foot.

Another thing they all decided after looking at the award of the penalty, was that the goalie did indeed make contact with Harry, which brought him down.

So you can shove all that right up your arse Van Dyke, you complete waste of money.

It’s coz it’s liverpool. If the same incidents had happened the other way round, it would all be celebrating their win and comeback.

Fuck me these Liverpool fans really are deluded.

They can’t ever see anything for what it is and they think the whole world is against them.

It’s actually a worrying low level of intelligence, I can’t get my head around how narrow minded they are.
