As a Tottenham fan I'd like to watch a game with him, I wouldnt understand a word he said, but I can tell that's his genuinely posistive and passionate about the club and that's all I need from a fellow fan.

I don't know what anyone has against this guy. Seems passionate in his support of spurs. More so than a lot of people moaning about the way he speaks or asking for subtitles. Or even saying that he'd be understood more by the Arse lot. We live in a multicultural Britain, deal with it. If you're not happy with him being a spurs fan because he's a young black lad using street vernacular piss off and support Chelsea or West Ham.
Let's not pretend his videos are representative of how most black people speak. It's an act, and that's what bothers me. He's going to matches to play up to that completely exaggerated stereotype and further his personal brand and YouTube career, rather than to support the team. That annoys me just as much as the rich white corporates using it as a jolly day out and looking at the fans supporting the side like animals in a zoo.

I'm not a huge fan of the Expressions character and fans using the club to promote themselves. I just felt uncomfortable that the language he uses is looked down upon and seen as somehow more Arsenal than Spurs (albeit jokingly). Why the shock horror that a Spurs fan is using north London slang words?

Not the biggest fan of “street talk”, but I’m all for it if it opens out lovely club to more non-white fans. For some reason we’re not as attractive to ethnic minorities compared to Le Arse, which is a shame as we have so many promising young black lads in our academy and youth squash etc.

It's clearly talking the piss out of the Arsenal fan tv lot. You know, the ones everyone one here laugh at for the "bluds and fams".

You're looking way too much into this mate.

Christ, i didn't realise the entire forum was actually just my grandad with multiple accounts, Rob should really look into this.

I know so many people who genuinely speak like that

I like his videos, look forward to them actually. Love the nicknames. The guy has passion for the club, no bad language (better man than I). Who’s he hurting? (Don’t shoot the messenger)

I can't help but feel if expressions was part of AFTV everyone would hate him. My dislike of him has nothing to do with him using slang. I don't really understand why anyone critical of him is instantly labelled as some kind of racist, but anyway. To me he's just irritating and I don't find him funny. If he was white and posh I'd still feel the same way.

All the Arsenal fans I know begrudgingly like him, as many of us do Claude.

Did he actually go before he started vlogging? If so then fair enough, but I was under the impression he had scarcely if ever been before and then suddenly started being given tickets out of our away allocation for games like Arsenal.

I'm sorry but what does him never going before have to do with his love for the club?

I'm from Tottenham and have a load of mates who support spurs but have never been because they can't afford tickets. How are they any less fans?

Good luck to the fella if he's found a way to make money and watch us play

Behave. People find it annoying like they do any other accent. I didn't moan when people took the piss out of harry or tims accent (or maybe I did). Also some of us find the whole vlog thing cringey. I don't wish ill on The bloke but the whole thing isn't my cup of tea.

Guess we're all racists though.
I really don't understand what you mean by that bit in bold above?

This guy is not harming anybody or making the club look bad - if some people find it funny and interesting and support our club - Good.

If people don't like the vlogs don't watch them

As for twitter - some of the most abusive comments about him seem to come from some of the biggest bigots around who somehow feel superior and think they have some sort of monopoly on who should support and how the club is supported - criticising "tourists" being one example

I'm in my mid 50s and couldn't care less how he speaks - at least he is supporting the club - and actually quite a few people do speak like him

Just to clarify, if thats the same guy I'm thinking of, he's been a fan and has been going to games for years, during our last season at the lane he was so desperate to get tickets for every game he actually got a job as a steward at WHL just so he could be there.

How many of the 'fans' on here would go to such lengths?

I would simply put that down to Arsenal being more successful than us in the last few decades. It will change if we continue on our current resurgence.

He’s clearly putting on an act. I’d wager he’s not really like that in real life off camera.

He is funny but it gets pretty tiring pretty quickly.

I think it's my Spurs bias but I really like the bloke. I find him very funny. If he was a gooner then I doubt I would like him.

Ah, maybe I stand corrected, I thought that was him, but the way he comes across id suspect he's not a stranger to our games and doubt he's just going to games now to grow his own fanbase.
