The thought of Aubamayang and Mkitaryan on the break makes me queasy. The way those two dismantled us for Dortmund a few years back still haunts me.

They were playing in a better team, then (IMHO). We are a better team now than we were then (IMHO). We were away. We sent out a scratch team and were surprisingly lacking in spirit.

They need to be respected and we need our defensive unit to be on their A-game. But is their attacking unit streets ahead or ours? And, perhaps more pertinently, is their defensive unit superior to ours? I believe the answer to both questions is no.

ArseAnal are a villainous, depraved bunch.

We are the guardians of light.

The eternal balance of the cosmos depends on a Tottenham victory. And as the Looniverse is a self-regulating system, the heavens decree a Tottenham win.

All depends on which spurs side turns up.
If we come out and play like we did against Manchester United then I can see us hitting the scum for 4+ genuinely think we're that much better than them BUT if we play anything like we did first half against Liverpool then I think we will be 2 or 3 down at half time chasing the game.
Fuck it we're gonna win 5-0 #COYS

If we play to our potential, we win.

If we play like we did at home to United or Liverpool we spank them.

I can’t bloody wait.

As an American this game is tough for me because I love both teams! But these days Tottenham Hotspurs edge it- so I think I'm rooting for them. Then again if my Gunners pull ahead I'll be squarely on their side...thing is, almost all of my favorite Arsenal players no longer play for the club: Thierry Henry, Samir Nasri, Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas have all gone, leaving only Jack Wilshire as the sole gunner I truly love (I have a life-size poster of him in my room- and guess what: I'M taller! Pretty cool, eh?)

Now don't get me wrong, the Hotspurs are a cool team too, I just don't like the way they treated Emmanuel Adebayor and William Gallas- but that's water under the bridge I suppose. Oh and I went and got a special kit made up for this match! It's a shirt that is half Tottenham/half Arsenal, split down the middle! "Fly AIA" lol...

Anyway- should be fun! I'll support whomever's in the lead by the 85th minute...

Can't wait!

I live in New Zealand now, so I don't feel the same anxiety/dread as I used to towards this fixture... Though, there are a few Arsenal fans over here who won't let me hear the end of it if the result doesn't go our way! I still hate this game so so much! I also hate that 40 year old knuckle draggers from Arsenal fan tv and Twitter dweebs do wind me up, even though they're an embarrassment to mankind.

I'm gonna gamble and say that we edge it 3-2. High scoring affair. Though I'm quite drunk, I'm not even sure what I'm on about.

When everyone is fit they definitely play a style of football which can be difficult for us to handle.

I haven't gone into a game with so much anger in a long time. So up for this after all the penalty bull**** this week. Really hope the players are feeling the same way and Poch has instilled a siege mentality.

Taking my 9yr old son today for his first NLD.
He's calling 4.0
I'm going 3.1
If we clear the ball when under pressure around our goal instead of doing something stupid then we'll win comfortably. Play tippy tappy against this lot and lose the ball 18yds out it'll be in the back of the net before you can scream wtf.
Must dash. Setting off in 25min and not had coffee yet :)
COYS.

we are better than them and we are at home. honestly feel we should win comfortably if we play our game.

Agree but shoulda coulda goes out the window in these matches. We were playing better in the reverse fixture earlier this season and they did a job on us.

Still this spurs team is in even better form now so I'll be extremely disappointed with anything less than 3 points.

Really crucial match this....the win puts us in 3rd temporarily and will start to crank the pressure up

The media frenzy around that pen, the pen we didnt even fkin score, was a disgrace.
Teams like Watford, Bournemouth, Burnley, etc get shit like that every other game and no one bats a fkin eyelid.
Was worse than post Brexit, well maybe not.
Anyway I've really got to go now.
See you there boys

Just had a dream we lost 3-2. If this turns out to be the score then I apologise in advance.

Tricky game, feel their new signings might make a difference. Reckon it'll be nail-biting stuff, along the lines of us being 2-0 down after 20 mins but fighting back for a heroic 3-2 win! Driving to Wembley as per, leaving nice n early...

I really hope we bring intensity to the game. Still the game i look forward to the most and i still feel we have the better team. Things i hope for:

1. Wheelchair hobbling off after 4 minutes
2. Kane getting a hat trick (perfect)
3. Moura destroying Monreal in a 15 minute cameo resulting in Monreal crying on the sideline.
4. Alderweireld and Vertonghen reunite and limit AuBUMAyang to one touch which is the kick off (100% pass completion).
5. Wenger kicking a water bottle a world record distance.
6. Wanayama and Dembele please.
