Maybe Dier is the scapegoat when Sissoko isn't playing?

I thought he was mostly poor in the first half - if Sissoko has put in that performance there would have been 30 pages about how shit he was.

But he was very good second half.
Dier's issue is to do with maintaining concentration. He is a very good player and was excellent in the second half. He is also a tough competitor, an important factor to rid us of our traditional flakiness.
