Off tangent, a family friend (loosely) is an oncologist who sells Thalidomide as a stage 4 Cancer drug to third world countries where it is not banned. Apparently it's still one of the biggest selling drugs worldwide, madness.

Feel very awkward talking to him, with my views on things.

He thinks it's fine, me not so much.
No, it's not just in Third World countries, where it's used for leprosy. A related drug is used in this country for a form of blood cancer.

Wasn’t on here for the game today but just read the last 4 or 5 pages.

If some of the posters from those pages wake up to find their access revoked by @Archibald&Crooks or another mod, the site certainly wouldn’t miss them.

Shouting “bloody liberals” doesn’t mean you are someone expressing an opinion that other people just don’t agree with, looking at the posts it just shows you’re stuck in the dark ages with no clue how to conduct yourself as an adult and as a human being. Those sort of words just don’t need to be used. All very well telling people to “grow a skin”, unfortunately it seems you can’t grow some respect.

Pathetic excuse of a person.

I've been bingeing on match reports from just about everywhere since the end the game today.

There's a lot of well earned and deserved praise out there.

What did I miss? I'm too lazy to go trawling though the mire lol.

I still felt panicked watching Lacazette's shot go past the post: I kept thinking it would divert into the goal and I'd wake up to a nightmare. They should never have been given that free-kick at the end, because Welbeck fell over after treading on the ball.

I said before the match if we go for it we can win this, I think we did and to be honest maybe should have been at least 2-0 up at half time. But we saw as soon as we took Deli off and went more defensive the Arse came onto us, and we could have left with a draw. Maybe we will learn something from that maybe not? having said that, like I said we did go for it and should have been out of site, Dembele, Kane, Trippier and Verts were all very good today, but most of our team were just better than ARSEnal. The two new ARSE signings probably showed why Poch left our new signing on the bench, they just were not up to speed with their teams style and pattern of play - they are two very good signings and I expect them to come good, but hopefully it will be too late for them to make a difference this season:)

Finally back home from watching the game with the boy! His record so far as a Spurs fan:

Bournemouth w 1-0
Liverpool w 4 - 1
Madrid w 2 - 0
Man Utd w 2 - 0
Arsenal w 1 - 0

He has no idea why I always expect us to blow it in the last 10 mins haga! Good to see Dembele back to his best! My norm today!

Fly your boy out to Turin on Tuesday. Even if it is on his own

Loved seeing Kane just shoving off a few of the Arsenal defenders today.

Also, after re-watching some parts I have to say fair play to Kane right at the end with the freekick too, pretty sure it was him who jumped higher than anyone else in the wall and headed the ball clear.

To be fair, they've had over 50 years of comparing the current team to the best we've ever been, i'd be angry too. Whereas my baseline is 'is this player better than Ruel Fox?', kept me at a constant level of apathy and shrugging.

"is this player better than Ruel Fox?" - had me laughing for about 10 minutes. Brilliant. Thank you sir.

Only one answer to this - SC whip round to get him a season ticket

I think the 20 minutes after the goal is one of the best spells of football I've seen from a Spurs side, they couldn't cope with us, second to everything, all over them, completely dominated.
