For all the shit that is associated with Wembley, mainly the fan experience, I'm glad to say it looks as though we've finally made it our home (at least on the pitch). Our best performances of the season have been there and silences those doubters that thought we'd struggle to adapt.

Makes you even more confident the team will adapt quickly to the new stadium too.

If nothing else this season it's allowed more of us to attend the matches which can only be a good thing (until you have to get home :cautious:)

Is it likely that we'll break the attendance record again v the scum?

Don't we have some sort of capacity limit (60,000) for the London derbies against Arsenal and Chelsea (due to policing), or am I mistaken?

There is no cap - if we sell 85000+ tickets, then that's fine. The issue for Chelsea (and Arsenal I think is the same) is that the club were only allowed to put tickets on restricted general sale. That meant you had to be registered on our ticketing database before a certain date to be able to buy a ticket. Given Chelsea was the first home game, the cut off was some time in the summer break and probably lots of newbies who would have wanted a ticket couldn't get one.

Whereas for Arsenal anyone who has been to a single game at Wembley this season will be eligible (plus all those who were eligible for Chelsea) so the pool for potential ticket sales is much larger. I expect 80,000+ for Arsenal.

What @TottenhamLegend said, but also Arsenal at home might be a little less than last night and Liverpool at home as we might have to lose more seats to segregation (e.g. rows of seats being covered).

To set the record is impressive in itself, but to do it on a midweek when people have work the next day and its difficult for people to attend is very impressive. My big concern for the new stadium was how empty it might be for midweek games but if the team is in form then we might still fill it even for games on a Tuesday night vs Swansea et al.

I've been to Wembley 6 times this season and all have been emphatic wins against Dortmund, Real, Liverpool, Southampton, Everton and United.

I have booked tickets for Arsenal and Juventus

I think there's only going to be circa 10k tickets available for members and general sale - 40k season tickets, 8k corporates, 3k away, and then probably some segregation etc. So I guess we might occasionally have a number of ST holders missing games, but the club will always be getting revenue for at least 50k seats and almost certainly a few more than that.

This move was always going to be a nightmare, and overall I'd say the club, MoPo and the lads have probably over-performed versus reasonable expectations. I give them all an A grade.

Logistically, it's hard to see how the club could have managed the process more smoothly. On the pitch, we've had a few sticky patches, but we're playing at a goddam away ground every week! They've done exceptionally well. Great job everyone at Spurs.

Talking about capacity... am sure numbers are right, but there didn't seem to be many seats last night considering there were, ahem "only" 82,000 there - shouldn't there have been about 8,000 empty seats? I couldn't see many at all (at least from my perch in the top tier)

I don't think we will lose any seats for segregation against them.

I think almost all our league games at Wembley have had a higher attendance than will be possible at new WHL... there was me hoping for slightly cheaper tickets - Levy's no mug, we'll fill it most of the time I'd guess.

West Ham, Stoke and Southampton I think we're all under 60k
One was in the 40's

I said exactly this to my boy? Couldn’t see that many empty seats? Very strange it was 8k under capacity.

I was going to post something similar by saying I have been to games against Madrid, Dortmund, Apoel and Stoke.....but then I remembered I went to see Swansea.

This is actually a question about ticket arrangements this season at Wembley. I am a Lilywhite member as are my 2 sons and we go to a few games per season. I met up with a friend the other day who I used to go to lots of games with and he asked about going to a game this season with me. Looking at the remaining fixtures I think most likely candidates are Watford, Leicester and Huddersfield- can't see guest tickets becoming available for Man City or any further FA Cup or CL games. I just wanted to check my understanding of the guest tickets system. I am assuming that none of the above matches will be classified as 'restricted games'. I haven't quite worked out how you 'register on the club's database' anyway as a non-member? Once tickets go to Guest sale day I assume I am allowed to apply for the extra tickets but do they have to sit with us. What I am getting at here is could I secure our tickets first ,in the main members window, and then go back and get their tickets on the guest sale day. My problem is I don't want to risk not getting our tickets first - my friend and his son will not mind sitting elsewhere from us. I hope this rambled question is clear enough to be understood !

Nearly all of those seats on the halfway line behind the benches were still empty when Kane scored

Who are these people? How much are they paying for their tickets?

Corporate seats I think
Yep, it's the same for every England international, Cup final etc straight after HT.

The Wembley crowd was pretty good yesterday, I hope being a Saturday game there's a decent turnout for the Huddersfield match.

Looks like it. Sold out bottom tier and top tier few seats scattered in every block.

Huddersfield didn’t take full allocation either so we got a few of those blocks too.
