Ive just been across to Rawk to see what Liverpool are thinking.

My god, they really hate us. Hate filled comment, HK is a mong, referees love us, all our goals were offside etc etc...

They seem to be the new Newcastle, when they got arsy about us taking their place in the hierarchy.

Feckin rough as arseholes.

So went out about 11 yesterday morning. Got to my local, there they are...Gooners and Spam fans, oh and a handful of pissed up Welsh contractors who are working on the new power station.

Yep, the footie fans know I'm Spurs to the core, always vocal in Spurs' defence. So the bullshit starts, we're gonna do you 4-1, Kane"s a diver blah, feckin blah.

Then the random Welshies start on the rugby. Fecks sake not even knocked the head of a pint.

Anyways, I just smiled, remimded the Gooners that a Spurs loss still sees us ahead of them, that they are shite and should stop getting fizzy knickers because they beat Everton.

The Welsh rugby fans I managed to remind that an England loss could be remedied by reminding them that "you twats will still be Welsh." (yeah I know, I'm great at building rapport)

Spam fans I told them how impressive their stadium will look for a Championship club.

Anyway, took on all the bets, won all the money, got ratarsed on their money.

Moral of the story...

Stop chatting shit...it gets me pissed.:confused::meh:

Sounds like a successful night to me, well done (y)

Let's hope their feeder club puts them in their place today.

I genuinely think every single one of them has forgotten that we didn't score the first penalty and have completely blanked VW's screamer.

I expect this again to go down by pundits and the press as "Spurs were good, but Arsenal were poor". Just waiting for one of these experts to say the reason these big teams are playing so poorly against us is because we just don't allow them to play their natural game.

Don't be holding your breath.

From Arsenal News Review----
an honest assessment

Why Spurs deserved to beat Arsenal by more goals

11th February 2018 – by Myles Palmer
By Dan Ferguson
Spurs 1 Arsenal 0

Tottenham played Arsenal off the park.

They played through, round, over and in-behind Arsenal.

The only thing Spurs needs to really work on here, (and may possibly regret), is that far better sides than Arsenal will not allow those kinds of openings and standing off with such fear in their eyes.

Poch’s team should have scored many more goals and been far more ruthless and they will possibly regret that in their quest for the top 4. Chelsea could hang in there, and Liverpool could too.

Either way, it will be interesting but it won’t feature The Arsenal.

So rather than break down the game, I am going to break down the team selection and leave it at that.

Cech – Made some blinding (but expected) saves, but his footwork and kicking is getting worse each week. He needs replacing soon.

Bellerin – ran his socks off, but so over exposed, his own team mugged him off and made him vulnerable. Perfect example is Xhaka lazy running back for the goal left Hector 2 on 1 with no option than to protect his area.

Mustafi – If the man could read the game consistently, pass the ball consistently and not make really silly fouls, he would be a truly decent defender. He’s nowhere near that, and costs us stability.

Koscielny – Poor. Meek. Confused. Quite unlike himself, and he didn’t have his limp, or Alexis to blame in this game. Just wasn’t clear how to handle Kane.

Monreal – lacked his thrust and didn’t do much to help the cause. His forays up front exposed gaps for Xhaka or Ozil to fill on the counter. That was terrifying at times.

Wilshere – worked hard but was unable to control the game. Until 82 minutes, Cech had more passes than Jack. He was suffocated in that midfield today.

Xhaka – he plods, he fouls, he has a huge pass completion rate, yet he is useless and should no longer play for the club. I have nothing positive to say about the man. He is Championship level.

Elneny – worked hard but was exposed by clueless team mates passing to him in positions where they could have tried to unlock the Spurs defence. If Xhaka is asking Elneny to unlock the defence, there are serious problems.

Mkyhitaryananonymous and run out of the game by more industrious Spurs players. He had chances to show his assist ability, but panicked. Not a good day.

Ozil – was he playing? I don’t wish to snipe, but he was really out of the game. He could not find an inch of space.

Aubameyang scared their defence with his runs, and made them think twice about how to play him, until they realised that he was rarely getting any support or service.

Subs – Iwobi. Really? Is he the answer? No.

Lacazette – the most interesting player. He had two chances, and came off the pitch like the police just discovered where he buried the bodies. He has never looked more ashen and sick.

Welbeck – scared Spurs, and Arsenal in equal measure.

So all in all, a rubbish performance predicated on awful team planning or execution, but also hats off to (a profligate) Spurs who showed passion, control, finesse, consideration, awareness and refinement.

Words I would associate more with an artist, or in a relationship, but they have that kind of dynamic in their team ethos, and Arsenal doesn’t. Spanked 1-0, deservedly. Wenger’s fault again.

Sorry to distance from the Arsenal reaction so quickly, but here's some of what Juve are saying:
Pochettino has built an exceptional gaming machine, where the strong points mask the weak ones.
I hope to read about this in the Consoles and Computing forum.

The bitterness towards Tottenham is verging on Manchester United levels. Seems like they have replaced Chelsea.

What's funny with rawk is that the hatred has all come about because they didn't get what they wanted last week.

To them we're now a team that always dives, always fouls, always scores goals that shouldn't count, always cheats etc. It's such a widespread childish reaction on the site. Has to be full of children over there.

Did they mention that they suspect the two penalties were offside and dives?

They literally have an excuse for everything.

‘Once Klopp gets his proper starting 11 then we’ll be way ahead of Spurs’.

Klopp has had several transfer windows to get in defenders and he hasn’t, until last month. They’re talking like he’s been there 6 months. Liverpool will always be leaky while he’s in charge.

I can’t believe how many ‘Spurs are a small club’ I saw and that they genuinely still can’t get over the penalty decisions from last week, even though they’ve been proved correct since by everyone and that the first Kane one benefitted them more than us in the end!! And they’re still going on about Kane and Dele should’ve been banned after the City match (“and then we’d be X amount of points above them if that happened”). It’s all quite sickening to read.

They seem to forget their 2 best players of recent times - Gerrard loved a dive and Suarez loved a dive, a feast and a racial slur. But noooo, you can’t talk about them. Hypocritical ****s.

How do they explain us finishing above them in the league in what is it 9 of the last 10 seasons ?
