Absolutely love him. A real busy player who picks out a player to great effect. He needs to improve his finishing but I reckon he's got a lot to say in our final push in all comps.

If Wilshere had actually been really trying to get to Coco (as opposed to the "come at me bro" fake attempts he was actually doing) Tripps would've absolutely ripped him to pieces
Jack is lucky it wasn't our other RB holding him back, Serge would have two-footed him in the throat.

Once again, you can't deny that Lamela is the best creative / through ball player we have. Within minutes of being on a delicious ball over the top for Dele.

Seems to be getting sharper and a little quicker again.

With everyone fit and possibly 2/3 additions in the summer, we are looking at building an immense squad with lots of depth.

Only

oooh swearing at someone on the internet. What else do you do in your spare time wrestle alligators make soufflés.

Sorry, your illiteracy/inebriation is making it difficult for me to translate your post. Are you asking if I wrestle alligators whilst they make soufflés? Or whilst I make them? Or wrestle them in order to force them to make me a soufflé?

You’re genuinely an oddball though. Assume the only time you leave the house is to venture to Asda and get yourself stuck round the back of some form of frozen poultry.

Watched the replay for that chance, that came from an Arsenal player mis-controlling the ball not sure who it was may have been Xaka or Monreal, but Lamela snatched onto it and played it first time over the top. Other than Eriksen hes the only other player at the club that could have spotted a pass like that and made it. Arsenal were pretty much on a 8 count by that point that was just moments after Cech passed it to Dele from the back pass. Right after that was Lamela chance he sprinted from the RB position for the shot. Baffles me how people think he won't be starting or he will be sold.

I would like to apologise to Erik for considering the idea that we should sell him. Taken me about 2 games to realise that was a disgusting thing to think. I really want us to sign Malcom still so I guess we're just gonna have the most insane group of attacking players.

Really amusing to see a number of posters changing their minds about Lamela! He is a vital part of our squad and suits our style/philosophy perfectly. Now that he is getting fitness and match sharpness back We are starting to see the Lamela of 2 seasons ago. In today's market he is a snip at 25 million. Quite why people think he should be sold is beyond me?

If we can keep him and the rest of the team fit for the remaining games of the season I think we could take a spot in top 4. But what has happened this year is as soon as we get players back we loose another in that position so I expect to lose Son or Alli any game now

Not that it means much but any real brawl between our lads and theirs would be an absolute massacre. Probably says it all about the difference between the two teams mental and physical toughness...

What I like about Lamela's cameos of late is that he's always really bright and gets involved. He's clever on the offensive side and puts himself about defensively. Just wish he was a bit more clinical. Can see him being very handy in the run in.
