Palace away is going to be such a tough game. They're desperate for points and they certainly won't make it easy.

When clubs are fighting to stay afloat, it makes fixtures so much tougher. United found that out today!

They'll have no Zaha, the thing that works for us is all these teams who are fighting for points will be going out for the win, rather than banking up and playing out for a point which will help our game.

I think Liverpool will finish second and it’ll be a fight between us, United and Chelsea for the other two places.

We can definitely do it if we keep everyone fit, especially with the momentum we have.

Liverpool is a wildcard. I glanced at their game today, they where lucky not to be under after the first half. Their defence is so poor, they can lose against anybody. If we put together a good run the rest of the season, I don't see them finishing above us.

We'll finish above Liverpool, I'm confident we'll finish second now we have a fully fit squad.

Totally agree as long as we don't get out fought. Which we won't, only complacency is our enemy in this run coming up. We should be looking at 12/12.

If we can next four games palace (a) Huddersfield (h) Bournemouth (a) Newcastle (h). That would put us 14 pts clear of them. Chelsea have wba (h) win, utd (a) draw, city (a) loss, palace (h) win, Burnley (a) draw. 8 points from 15. Hopefully 6 points when it comes to play them.

Either United or Chelsea or both will drop points in their next game, so a win over Palace is crucial to capitalise on that.

They have wretched injury problems and no form, but Selhurst Park under the floodlights always makes me slightly nervous. It’s just one of those places, when it’s a London derby and the crowd get up for it, strange things can happen.

Yeah so true, and then suddenly Benteke and Jason fucking Puncheon have a stormer!

I think it's a case of attacking them from the off getting an early goal and quieting that crowd a tad, that would be handy.

But then again you look at that side and just think mediocrity at best, should walk all over it. We havn't been on MNF this season yet, have we? Looking forward to it.

No Zaha is great but I’m not sure your other point will play out like that. These teams will still set up to frustrate for the majority of the match and look to play on the counter. They may commit more later on in a 2nd half if it’s still 0-0 to try and nik a 1-0.

Also, as half the league is potential relegation candidates (and there not being much in it points wise) a point against us will still be a vital point.

Hope you’re right, though.

Yeah that's what I mean, they need to show some ambition as opposed to banking up and putting 10 men behind the ball and hoping for a point like they do for the first half of the season.

Sorry I probably didn’t word my post very well. What I’m saying is that they still will put 10 men behind the ball for the majority of the match (if not all of it) they might show more ambition late on if they have a chance of winning it but shit teams aren’t going to suddenly come at us

When you get down to last game or 2 and people are going through all the permutations then yeah but still a lot of football between now and then. Lots more ups and downs I’m sure.

The last 11 games will be very tough no matter who the opposition is.
Goal difference will play a big part in the relegation battle its that close.
Team's will sit 10 behind the ball and won't try any swashbuckling stuff.
Can see a lot of 1-0 games.

That's why I think we start hammering teams towards the end of the season because they have either gone on their holidays after being safe or have to come out and play because they are desperate for points and our fitness and quality just crushes them.
