Imagine they are, but what’s the point. Pay loads of money to not see the key moments in the game. Go to a gastro pub if you want a pint, some nice food and the game on in the background

Tis football nowadays innit, prawn sandwich brigade and all that. They don't come for the match, they come for the experience.

It's about the "experience" and more than anything the prestige in our broken corporate climate, not the football.

Nearly all of those seats on the halfway line behind the benches were still empty when Kane scored

Who are these people? How much are they paying for their tickets?
They are very expensive corporate seats. Many no doubt also used by the club itself for sponsors guests and the like

I am sure it has been mentioned in this thread.

However, we are finally looking at home at Wembley.

Will help us long term in adapting to various pitches and any big finals we find ourselves in going forward, at Wembley.

It’s not even the good seats. I’m stood next to a gangway in the lower tier behind the goal Kane scored in and people were still streaming in after the goal, a good 5 minutes into the second half, with their overpriced chicken and chips. What is the appeal of this fast food compared to a North London Derby!?! One bloke was headed down the stairs as the goal went in and the chips he had queued so long for went straight up in the air.

the reason for this is the absolutely ludicrously slow bar staff. they should be sacked. If I worked that slowly I would. shocking. The only crumb of comfort I have is that they are twice as fast as the lot in the London Stadium.

Still not a fan of Wembley but it will be weird when we come back for finals etc. All feeling very familiar now.

I wouldn’t even attempt it for this reason. How many people missed the goal because they put their faith in some minimum pay kid?

Paul Hawksbee from Talksport said he tried those club Wembley seats for one of the cup games as it was only £15 . It is a good 10 mins walk back to your seat from the bar inside. Hence if you go in there you will definitely not be back in your seat for start of second half. That’s usually the case for all games at Wembley as those seats are nearly always empty for start of second half

Different areas and different bars I suppose, but we are in Club Wembley and I had time for a piss and a pint, and got back to my seat just before second half kicked off.

It'll be an advantage over the next couple of years or so but I think after that any effect would likely wear off.

I have a club Wembley seat and it take minutes to get from the bars to my seat. I really have found this easier than any other stadium I have ever been to

I can understand getting food/drinks for a sport like the NFL when the game takes 3-4 hours but for an event that takes two hours, I will never understand why people need to buy food. Eat before you go or eat after but to miss match time because you needed a snack is absurd.

Yeah I agree with this, I'm no food snob but stadium food is generally over priced muck anyway.
