Well of course they were going beat West Brom. WBA has been lifeless under Pardew. They’re on their way down. Chelsea can play terribly and still win 3-0

I wouldn't count wba out of this yet, they just need to stay in the game for as long as possible and then hope for a set piece

Quite an unusual thing, but I don't think any of this year's relegated teams will be atrocious, as is usually the case with at least 1 or 2 of them, if not all 3. Each of the teams in the bottom half has got something about them, and/or has a number of decent players.

That's the TV money for you. Even the lower clubs can attract a couple of quality players.

West Brom getting something here would have just been a bonus, it's the next few games where we can really see them drop points.

What's comforting even in a most likely Chelsea win is that they haven't performed greatly at all, they look a shell of what they used to be and you can feel the nerves amongst the crowd and the players and that's with them facing the bottom club in the league.

It just shows how football doesn't really make sense. Chelsea have looked poor tonight and are cruising. We smashed Arsenal and nearly ended up with a draw.

I don't mind this result though, it papers over the cracks for them.

WBA and Stoke won't be missed if they go down though. They've been standing still or going backwards for more than this season and I'd rather more Brightons and Bournemouths and even Huddersfields getting their chance compared to these jaded sides that don't do enough to play enjoyable football.
