Poor lad, even his career before that was plagued by injuries.

He has come across well on the few games I’ve seen him as a pundit so hopefully he can crack on with that and maybe we can find him a role somewhere

The goal he scored against Forest was a real catalyst in our upward trajectory under Poch. Sad to see this happen. Hope he can pursue a career in coaching before trying the punditry avenue.

Ryan Mason was the first Pochettino player, would snap him up in a heartbeat as a coach for our youth teams.

He embodied the press and would have literally done anything for the manager and club. Only some players are born with that motivation, but perhaps he could instil it in others.

Such sad news. Hopefully he stays in the game in some capacity like coaching, he's a good lad and the game needs more good people like him.

That really sucks. If there's a guy out there who deserved better it's him.

All the best Ryan. Stay strong.

Seen him doing punditry earlier in the season and he's very confident/knowledgeable. Certainly has a future in football in one capacity or another.

Such sad news, but best of luck to him moving forward. I'm certain we haven't seen the last of him.

Terrible news. I always rated him as a player.

Poch always liked him so if Mason wants then I suspect there will be a role somewhere at THFC for him. Thats if the player wants to of douse, it might be too raw for him.

Lived the dream and saw it cruelly snatched away. Hope he receives the support he will so desperately need in the years to come. Gutted for him.

Has to be offered a job with the club. Spurs through and through and has all the traits required to become a coach, plus Pochettino is a big fan of his and has mentioned that he saw something special in him. Would make sense for all involved. Gutted for him, good player and always comes across as a good man first and foremost.

Unfortunate but I always thought it would be impossible for him to play after that injury. Just too much risk of another trauma.

Wonder whether McDermott will try to get him involved in the development side of things. He always seemed like a bright lad.
