Juventus XI: Buffon; De Sciglio, Benatia, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Pjanic; Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa, Mandzukic; Higuain

Subs: Szczesny, Rugani, Asamoah, Marchisio, Bentancur, Sturaro, Muratore

Mandzukic and Pjanic their key players. Their bench is weak
Some big names in that team, but you could have said the same about Real and Dortmund. We’ll see, I guess.

Skipping class for this one. No way I'm missing this.

Head says 2-0 defeat

Heart says 0-1 to us with Eriksen on the score sheet.

I'm more worried about their defense taming our attack effectively setting them up for a nice 1/2 nil win rather than a thrashing.

We’ve played 5 teams with frightening attacks and come away with positive results (Real, Dortmund, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal). Hopefully more of the same tonight.

Its going to be a game of chess here. Really pleased with the team and im very happy for coco hes fully deserved this chance and his energy and desire will drive us on.

Anybody else think that poch is going to go full press on them?

In addition to Dybala they are also missing Cuadrado, Matuidi, Barzagli, Lichsteiner, and Höwedes to injury.

While we're catching them at a very good time, it says a lot about their squad depth that they are able to put out as strong a team as they have done given all of those injuries.

Like the starting 11. Lamela to lead the press and Son to come on and get at them when tired legs come into play.

Stat after tonight will read:

Juve had only conceded 1 goal in their last 16 games and had won their last 11 until they were demolished by Spurs...

Great vote of confidence and great reward for a year plus exhausting/demoralising recovery work for Erik Lamela. He's going to play like a demon tonight.
