You have to wonder if Aurier will ever learn not to be reckless. Whatever the decision to play Lamela ahead of Son, it seems harsh on Trippier after the past 3 league games to be benched for this one.

Aurier is a loose cannon.
Have a look at his YouTube compilations, awful.

If anything we’ve actually got to tighten up here imo. We’re opening them up easily enough. Just got to be solid and patient and one or two chances will come. Just got to stick them away.

I don't actually think Aurier touched Costa, although it doesn't stop it from being an awful attempt at a tackle. In that scenario they will always give the foul, similar to when Son fouled Moses in the FA Cup Semi final.

Am I the only one who thought Davies cleared that before catching him ???

Having seen that yet another time, I am the only one on SC who isn't blind. Davies clipped the ball away. Ridiculous pen.

Glad that they missed the blatant one. Justice served

People abusing aurier for making a mistake fuck off pls

It's ironic

Usually Can't help bend over backwards defending new to the team players saying they need more than a season. Janssen could do nothing all season and still get major support

Aurier Goes in for a tackle and mis times it and now all these...fans. Spring up calling him shit and needs to be sold, he's probably had 30 appearances or less in the shirt

Lately what ive noticed with our game plan is that weve evolved from a team that relied very much on speed on the flanks to a more rounded gameplan playing through the middle with smart passes and penetration. Last season walker and rose were key to our game. This season we dont need to rely on the wingbacks anymore. Loving the shift in our play.

Crazy game. So good yet could be 3 down. The life of a spurs fan

Genuinely think serge needs a hypnotist or some sort of mental coach to help him not make the same crazy decisions time after time. Clearly a mental flaw where he panics when the ball gets away. Don’t think I’ve seen a player do the same crazy thing so often - early days Kyle Walker was safer than this

I was the first to slate davies for the penalty and spat the dummy in chat but have to say he has been good since.aurier is more of a liabilty for me.should be running at the aging forward tasked to track him but not got in behind him once.

I dont blame him for the pen. It was his first 6 crosses against the right backs shins that made that decision for me.

The first 7 minutes reminded me of the 1990's. What a shocker, i thought we had ramon vega and jose dominguez in the side but the next 35 minutes was incredible by the spurs apart from auriers brain fart.

People not realising that this is how juve play. They don't want possession, they just defend and counter repeatedly. It's worked; higuain missed a sitter and a penalty, they could have had 4. They looked shit against fiorentina on the weekend but won 2-0.

Sorry but they have missed passes all over the show. They haven't been very good at all.
