Hats off to Pochettino for starting Lamela ahead of Son. Totally unexpected for me, but as the game progressed I understood what he wanted with that change.
The pressing as a team is totally different when Lamela is on the pitch.
What a time to get him back Too!!

You wouldn’t think we are an English club with how depressed Lineker and co are about us getting this result.

It’s honestly pathetic quite frankly, do they just hate the fact we aren’t buying it?

Still unbeaten in this years CL.

After away games at Juve, Real Madrid and Dortmund. (With apoelogies if I forget anyone).

Barcelona and Bayern would be chuffed with that.

It’s fecking mad.

Always amusing to go back and read the comments after we went 2-0 down.

Who was it that was "embarrassing" and "shat themselves" - the team or us?

Hands up who wouldn't have taken a 2-2 draw at the start! To get one after giving them a two goal lead after ten minutes is even better, to do it by completely dominating Juventus is magnificent.
We are looking awsome right now, other clubs will look at us now with completely new eyes.

I was going to say this is the best Spurs team I've ever seen but given that I can only remember from Gerry Francis onwards that isn't a particularly high bar to pass.

You obviously missed the Jason Dozzell era? Andy Sinton? But never knock Nico Claesen!

Him and Gerrard did seem quite down about it. Very strange.

We were TERRIBLE. And then we stood up. It was a horrible start but a performance that bodes so well for the future. I reckon we'll do them at Wembley.

I said early doors that we were all over them and so it proved pretty much throughout.

Wonderful team ethic. Wonderful belief. So many little things.

Davies did so well after harshly being carded after 4 minutes.

And Aurier - look, he didn't have a great night and still is fucking dick with his sliding challenges BUT the commentary were asking "where's Douglas Costa" - well, he was being marked by Aurier and Sanchez. That's why he was on the pitch and that's why Poch was never taking him off. He's out of the return game so Tripps and 3 at the back with Toby?

That was glorious. Such a massive deserved comeback. We really deserved all 3 points. We were that bloody good.

Unlike you our players didn't give up after doing so...

They are the Italian Champions and Champions League finalists. At home. They are going to score.

What they weren't expecting was to ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED FOR THE REST OF THE MATCH.

Fuck me... Spurs fans eh?
Who said I gave up? You won't find a post in this thread saying that. I'm simply saying that the fans mentalities won't change if we let in two early goals because that's what people have been used to.

Incredible performance from the lads. Going 2-0 down after 10 minutes, away against one of the biggest names in world football and coming away not only with a draw and 2 important away goals, but also doing more than enough to come away with the win is phenomenal.

To think we have now played away against Madrid and Juve and more than held our own is incredible, especially considering how we stunk the tournament out last season.

Really fancy us in the 2nd leg now and can't wait.

It’s what me missed in the first part of the season

This is what champions league is all about. Playing the best and competing. Going chest to chest with the big boys and not backing down.

City, United etc can go do one. Playing basle etc. Bollocks

We are taking the high road and making a.name.for ourselves.

Coys.

Missed the first 15 minutes due to work and, just seeing the score, was afraid we were dead. Almost couldn't believe what i watched from thatv point on. What agreat response. Showed a lot of guts. Players and Poch should really be proud, but I hope they are a little ticked that they didn't get another.

Well done boys I always believed we can come back into this game but what pissed me off is when we were two down people on here slagging the team off.Back the team or shut the fu*k up.

BTW - I know they both had some rough moments - but still to play the 2nd half on yellows was a courageous performance from Davies and Aurier.
