Come on now. It's easy to say that now bit 2 down against Juve is a hard task. You can't say it was an ideal start or high possibility we'd turn it around.

This team are proving a lot to us now though.

I said at the time there is a long way to go so its not just hindsight, I have some confidence in this team

I was still backing us in after 9 mins, 2 away goals is almost as good as a win, almost

lols @ all the wrist slitters after the first 9 mines "goodbye champions league", "Hugo is shit"

we showed a ton of character and Hugo saved our arse, 2 away goals and dominated posession

this is a very good Tottenham team.

Happens every game, that’s why I stay out of match threads until after FT. So I can come and laugh at all the bed wetters who would rather post shit on here than watch the game.

Dembele, Eriksen and Lamela all stand outs.

Kane plugged away and Dele put himself about.

Moura looked lively in his five mins.

This team has such heart. Never says die and always in a game. So not Spursy anymore.

Spurs goalscorer Harry Kane on BT Sport: "We could have done [capitulated], away from home in the Champions League. It showed character.

"It was an excellent performance after that and we take two away goals to Wembley. Great result.

"I should have scored the header but you have to be ready for the next one and I finished it off."

Well done boys I always believed we can come back into this game but what pissed me off is when we were two down people on here slagging the team off.Back the team or shut the fu*k up.

Agreed. Shouldn’t really be a spurs Fan of you can’t handle us being two down after 8 mins in our biggest game in years! Its what being a spurs fan is all about!!

My only sadness is I wish Moussa Dembele was 25 and playing like this

Enjoy him whilst we can guys!

Can I just say that Aurier needs a run of games for his rhythm. He'd been excellent before the injury.

I wouldn’t go that far. He’s had good games and poor ones. Same as Trippier.

However, in a game where he was picked partly for his experience ( as well as his recovery pace), he was a totally awful both in defence and attack.

He may need to get a rhythm back, but he doesn’t deserve to be in ahead of Trippier at the moment.

Hopefully, Toby will be back, because Sanchez worries me with high balls. Also, I'm not sure Aurier is playing better than Trippier at the moment. Dybala will be back for them.

I was surprised how open the game was. Yes, Spurs dominated but even after Juve went up 2-0 they did not "build a wall" as I was expecting them to do.
It was a truly entertaining game and showed that Spurs are a top-team in Europe.
Scoring 2 goals against Juve in itself as a tast, not to talk of coming back from being 0-2 down.
Dembele was a class act, while Eriksen dicated much of the game and Jan was a rock in defense. And Kane scores.
