Spurs goalscorer Christian Eriksen to BT Sport: "We are sure we will have chances at Wembley. We go into that game full of confidence and we’re looking forward to it."

Makes me sad to think one day poch won't be our manager, even if he stays till he dies they'll be a day where he's no longer leading our boys, and that makes me sad :(

Juventus have conceded two goals in a home Champions League game for the first time since February 2016 (2-2 against Bayern Munich).

You know what, fuck Lineker. We out performed their suggested favourites. I expect it from Rio and Stevie G but not lineker. I think the Leicester thing has coloured his eyes but I don’t care anymore. Fuck em all

Come on now. It's easy to say that now bit 2 down against Juve is a hard task. You can't say it was an ideal start or high possibility we'd turn it around.

This team are proving a lot to us now though.
You can support and believe as opposed to throwing your toys out the pram.

There’s a difference. Some people need to learn it.

WIth all due respect to Sanchez (incredible young player with a wonderful future), that was without Toby and, without Victor, who was absolutely superb last season... and how wonderful to be able to throw on sonny, Victor and Lucas Moura from the bench... running out of superlatives to describe both my affection for this Pochettino constructed team, and for this beautiful club.

I was surprised how open the game was. Yes, Spurs dominated but even after Juve went up 2-0 they did not "build a wall" as I was expecting them to do.
It was a truly entertaining game and showed that Spurs are a top-team in Europe.
Scoring 2 goals against Juve in itself as a tast, not to talk of coming back from being 0-2 down.
Dembele was a class act, while Eriksen dicated much of the game and Jan was a rock in defense. And Kane scores.

They tried to sit back and 'build a wall' but frankly we broke through it a number of times.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you were watching, but Lamela played well. He provided defensive cover, was instrumental in the play that led to the second goal, and played a lovely ball to the far post for Alli.
Read my post: he was frustrating HOME and away fans

Hopefully, Toby will be back, because Sanchez worries me with high balls. Also, I'm not sure Aurier is playing better than Trippier at the moment. Dybala will be back for them.

Aurier is suspended for next leg someone said so may see how trips does against costa

Dembele and eriksen. Just wow. Class apart.

Alli was frustrating me first half But lamela was frustrating home and away fans.

Verts a rock as per.

Ball is in our court. Smash it
Alli I had the assist for the first goal and won the free kick for our second. Really frustrating if you don’t rate Alli. Like a lot of games, really.

Maybe he's just been told to be stoic by the producers so to appear totally impartial, he's quite pro spurs on MOTD

I don’t know mate, I think Lineker is a corporate shill, I wouldn’t really say he is pro spurs, I forget what he said the other day when we played but he basically couldn’t wait to repeat the same bullshit that gets regurgitated about us time and time again.

Happens every game, that’s why I stay out of match threads until after FT. So I can come and laugh at all the bed wetters who would rather post shit on here than watch the game.

I came out of the thread at the start of the 2nd half.

So much negativity - again - I received another disagree (not that I care any more) for saying it was 'no disgrace' to be losing
2-0 to Juve.

The dislikes and neg ratings were flourishing like nobody's business. Twerps.

I wouldn’t go that far. He’s had good games and poor ones. Same as Trippier.

However, in a game where he was picked partly for his experience ( as well as his recovery pace), he was a totally awful both in defence and attack.

He may need to get a rhythm back, but he doesn’t deserve to be in ahead of Trippier at the moment.
Well, Trippier will get his chance in the return leg.
