I'm not excusing Aurier but Costa is a very good player indeed, I really thought Juve would spend all of the second half trying to get him the ball to have another go. Not sure if they didn't or couldn't due to the quality of the play.

We love a scapegoat and I'm not saying Aurier did a good thing but perhaps a little bit of slack required?

More than happy to cut him some slack the first, or maybe even second time he does it. Third time just emphasised that he's got a long way to go. Madrid away, West Ham away and could have cost us tonight too

So proud. Next season we will go for them and get 4-2. Who has ever been 2-0 down on Juve and battered them.

They will bring total defence mode to us at home. They will play for 0-1. But we can do it!
Mate they played total defence tonight after going 2 up. Fat lot of good it did them

If Douglas Costa rips us apart and wins the tie for them, after being pretty much anonymous for most of the night tonight, yes. It makes you the worst person ever :D

Dont panic - I think we are allowed a replacement right back to take part in the second leg.

We are a very very good side now. At 2-0 down I just knew that we wouldn't capitulate. I knew that if we could settle into the game that we would have chances. It was amazing, no panic, no arguing, the players have complete faith in themselves, in eachother and in the way that we play. We have now played Utd, pool, the scum and Juve and dominated them all for long periods. We have come back from terrible starts at 2 of the most difficult grounds in world football.

What a team we have.

I can't recall the last time when Dembele had four consecutive superb and injury free games for us. This is the right time for him and the others to be on top form for the tough run (all comps) ahead.
You just jinxed it mate.

Juventus failed to win a Champions League home game after being two goals ahead for the just the second time and the first time since April 1999 – losing 3-2 to Man Utd after being 2-0 up in the opening 11 minutes (semi-final second leg).

You wouldn’t think we are an English club with how depressed Lineker and co are about us getting this result.

It’s honestly pathetic quite frankly, do they just hate the fact we aren’t buying it?
Seriously? They’ve been waxing lyrical about us since the final whistle, even slippy G was full of praise, said Dembele was magnificent.

The Moose - Jeepers ! Majestic.

What a night, lost my voice and I'm on my own !

One of my favourite 'off pitch' memories was when Eriksen scored from the FK - there was a shot of one of the Ultras
with his back to the pitch on a stanchion and orchestrating his choir but turned to see the ball hit the back of the net.

LOL
He must have moved over to the Spurs corner when that happened because after that all I heard were the Spurs fans.

Outplaying the Italian champions at their own den and making them look ordinary.

Hey @rightwayup if you are going back to hindsight neg rep people, just saying “fuck off” when the opposition scores doesn’t mean I was slagging our team off does it?

And hindsight repping is a pretty cowardly thing to do however tempting...

@rightwayup has been busy I see.. It's not only cowardly it's pretty pathetic. But whatever floats his boat, I suppose.

I thought Davies pen was more stupid than Aurier's.

Costa is very hard to mark, especially with open space. He controlled him better than I expected.
