Fantastic performance, Dembele, Lamela and Eriksen fantastic. Aurier and Sanchez are disasters waiting to happen.

Dude, Sanchez still had a decent game and Aurier picked himself up well. Had red card written all over him but grew into the game

I'm going against popular opinion here on Sanchez, but to me he looks a calamity. Really hope I am proven wrong. Anyhow, amazing result

Master of the understatement.
Oh mate don’t worry I’ve changed all my ratings to 10’s now I was using the old scoring system where 5 was average and 7 was very good, they should be accurate now to the new scale of 7 - 15 ;) LOL. I must keep up. Fuckers lol

Fair play bud. He does look like he carries a mistake but when he on it, he is superb. He still young and will learn but I thought today he did well

Just like i was right on the two N'somethings

Just like I was right on the two lightweights Pritchard & Carroll

Lloris - 7
Aurier - 5
Sanchez - 6
Vertonghen - 8
Davies - 6
Dier - 8
Dembele - 10
Lamela - 8
Dele - 9
Eriksen - 10
Kane - 8

Erisken and Dembele by far the best players on the pitch. I'd give motm to Eriksen just for the goal.

Aurier and Sanchez a worrying combination down that right hand side. Both improved in the second half though.

Vertonghen is just about the best CB in the world atm.

Davies uncharacteristically shaky both defensively and on the ball early. Perhaps nervous, but as the game went on the better he got.

Another very good game patrolling the middle of the park and supporting Dembele from Dier. Would have got a 9 if he didn't start randomly giving the ball away towards the latter part of the second half.

Dele excellent. His movement even had a famed Juventus defence in knots. Assist for the first and a quite lovely touch and turn to win the free kick that led to the equaliser. After an average first half of the season he's in sparkling form atm.

I love Erik Lamela.

Kane does what Kane does. Should have had 2 though. Another header that he should have scored that he didn't put in the back of the net. That's 3 in the last two games now.

What about your ratings on here? Or are you just deliberately giving everyone a WTF rating to be silly?

To think some people on here thought we should cash in on Mousa this last summer. The man was a beast today.

Yes, it's almost as if when a player has one or two bad games they haven't totally gone to shit and shouldn't be sold immediately. Amazing!

One of my biggest hopes with us is for us to somehow keep this Dembele fit for the next couple of years. He's just immense and takes us to another level. If we can do that there's no need to buy another CM, you have Dembele with Winks and other younger CMs at club learning and naturally progressing playing games here and there to lighten Dembele's workload. Probably Dembele's best ever couple of weeks, one of the best CMs in the world these performances.

Quick thoughts tonight. Felt that was a very mature performance, one to be proud of. We didn't lose our heads after the horror start, plugged away and clawed our way back into it. Felt we were pretty knackered as a team in the final 10-15 mins that stopped us pushing for the winner, but 2-2 away from home I'll take - especially given the scoreline 10 mins in.

Lloris - Thought he could have done a bit better with the first goal.

Aurier - Slightly improved as the game went on, but for the most part was pretty bad with and without the ball and made an absolutely crazy tackle for the second penalty.

Sanchez - Starting to look like what he probably is at this point - a young centre back still (despite the fee) who does a lot of good, some bad, and has probably played a bit more football this season - especially in two centre back systems - than was anticipated. Him and Aurier positionally is far too random a lot of the time. There were at least three occasions as well where he lost out badly in tackles and so allowed them to be baring down on our goal. Alderweireld is back at the right time I think, can give this guy a breather.

Vertonghen - Held things together pretty well.

Davies - Slow start, improved a bit second half.

Dier - First half I felt he was solid, as the second half went on I felt he got a bit sloppy. Pressed pretty well throughout though.

Dembele - Immense first half. Second I felt they shackled him a bit more, and he tired towards the end and was less involved beyond the ultra simple stuff rather than driving us forward.

Eriksen - Again thought he was above everyone else on our side with what he could do. Was taking the platform Dembele was providing and popping up in all sorts of good areas to receive the ball and pose them questions. Also tired a bit at the end and felt this largely stopped us going for the win.

Lamela - Neat and tidy and put in a shift, without being spectacular.

Alli - Plugged away, he did ok and found some nice pockets of space. However, and I know he did have a part in both goals, I felt overall he was a little slow at key moments and didn't always use the ball well.

Kane - Led the line ok and battled away. Not his most spectacular game but put away a chance when needed.

That's cool. That's why we have a ratings thread. We all have our different number grades, but when I think we were playing Juve away in the CL, after going two down in the first 8/9 mins, and I watch what Dembele and Lamela, who's been out for so long, did to dig us out of that hole...the words "good performance" for Dembele, and "decent" for Lamela, just don't do justice to what either did for us today.

Dembele MOTM, just another level. He's not just back to his best, he's evolved under Pochettino and has got even better, specifically his use of the ball.

He moves the ball on quicker, with more zip and his passing is simply more progressive, much more vertical passing now, outweighing the side ways and back passing.

It's this improvement which is allowing us to camp in the opponents half so productively, and at times effortlessly.

His ability to retain the ball and ping accurate forward passes into feet help us stay up the pitch as a unit, smothering the opposition, toying with them.

Then to supplement that wonderfully strong base in Dembele you have the pure poetry in Eriksen. If Dembele is the efficient muscle in this team, Eriksen is clearly our Brain. What a combination and its these two who are at the core of us walking all over other teams, top teams to boot. Second best player on the pitch for me.

Lamela coming in third. His energy for the high press was so impressive, he was popping up everywhere and a big factor in our impressive off the ball work, great choice from Pochettino. Also interchanged really well with Dele and Eriksen.

One of the best comebacks I've seen given the opposition at a tough hostile ground in the knock out round of the CL.

We're arriving in terms of mentality, welcome to the big time, and the man responsible is Pochettino.

Aurier was nowhere near as bad as some of you miserable weirdos are making out.

Trippier deserves first choice atm, but he’d have struggled against Costa’s pace and trickery. Aurier got beat once or twice and gave a pen away. Bernadeschi had 2/3 chances cutting in on Davies’ side and Davies gave a pen - but Aurier is a liability because he’s new and this forum is full of “yer da”s
