For the return leg, replace Sanchez with Toby, Dier with Wanyama and Davies with Rose. If Dybala plays then we will have to compress space to deny him opportunities to take a shot or run at the defence. I don't think that we should go three at the back, because Sanchez is starting to get panicky in big situations.

The commentator said Aurier will be out the next match because of the yellow card.

I have to admit after the first 10 minutes I was a bit nervous but thought if we could just nick one to bring back home we'll be ok.. We did more than that we bossed them on their own turf, there must have been four times in that second half when Hugo was the only player in our half.

Personally I feel this result is better than the one against Real Madrid away. God I love this current team. COYS

I do hope this group of players win something. This is a much better team than the one that won the Carling Cup. It will be so Unjust if they never win a trophy as a group.

Yes, and it's a blessing in disguise, because he's made the same mistake twice now. Both times, they've resulted in penalties. Trippier has come on a bit of late in any case.

I agree to appoint but neither he or Davies shirked their duties after giving away the penalties. There seems to be a unity between the players and the fans (at the game) with no public blame. What happens in the dressing room/training ground stays there. I can't remember the last time our boys were booed off at half or full time.

I watched an interview from an Argentinan journalist talking to Lamela after the game, this was his question.....

How does it feel to be part of a team that plays like that?

The journalist added "I have never seen a team play like Spurs did today in my life"

...Juve were not prepared for the tenacity of our high press and were completely overwhelmed...

...Aurier was very poor and I am worried about RB...

I don't think you and others that share the same sentiments as you appreciate the thankless task of keeping Costa quiet that Aurier had to endure. Sure he gave away a poor penalty and was not as steady as we would have liked, but for the majority of the game he kept Costa back in his half or tracked him and spoilt his play. A Costa on his "A" game will cause Trippier a lot more problems than we witnessed with Aurier tonight.

Spurs had played eight games so far against clubs in the knockout stages of the Champions League plus two each against Arsenal and Dortmund.

Juventus has played Barca twice and Roma once. Plus Napoli once.

I'm not surprised Spurs fitness and press was enough to control most of the match.

seems to me that the team believe they can win this. Not the match, you know of what I speak. I'm just not gonna say it. But they believe it, I'm sure.

If the whole of Europe didn't take notice after we shook Madrid, they will now.

The team made me cry tonight. In a good way.

Keep telling yourself that, if it helps to heal your broken heart.

Wake up from your coma. Walker cost us goals and games (liverpool springs to mind), and made plenty of stupid mistakes. You may not like Aurier but don't alter Walker's past record as a fullback in our colours.

P.s. Chiellini could easily have had two yellows for constant diving, constant going through the back of players and constant taking players out on the edge of the box. He got VERY lucky too.
TBH, I really think this Chiellini is way overrated. He reminds me of a bad hybrid from Fazio and Mertersacker.
