Was weird but I was pretty calm about going behind once the defence settled. We're so much better when we play fearlessly

I certainly thought we seemed to lose that caginess which cost us in the first 10. Pretty much from there onwards (Aurier's moment of madness aside) we dominated the game and thoroughly deserved the result. Shame we gave them a head start but a great result to bring back home.

It was all strangely reminiscent of the performances of the Kyle Walker of 4-5 years ago. If Poch can work the same magic on Aurier, we might (eventually) have another £50 million full back on our hands.... :):)

I dont recall Walkers rashness being last ditch off his feet challenges in the area, I seem to believe it was all down the line and not in the area.

My several thoughts. Italian supporters are a disgrace - booing their own team after 20 minutes every time they lost the ball.
Juve simply don't have the stamina to maintain our tempo for 90 minutes.
Dembele had his best game for us EVER - a beast.
Erisken is a poet, but it seems Lamela told him a few things about what to do for the free kick.
Juve fans are actually trying to dispute the foul on Alli... Deluded bastards.
We have such a talented squad and with Alderwireld coming back, it's scary what we can achieve.
Next time, at home, unleash Son and they won't now what hit them.

No, we're a club with no ambition as we showed in the transfer window. Poch out..........
:D

There's an arrogance to this team that i really like, it's almost like when we go a goal down we challenge ourselves to get back in the match because we know how fucking good we are, haven't seen a team so composed and cool in the face of adversity and just carry on playing like nothing has happened, kudos to the coaches, we're an embodiment of them and their philosophy - the bravery of this team is something else.

Crazy that 9 of that 11 were 15/16 team. And in all honesty Trippier should have started and toby would have if fit. Shows what good coaching can do. But also shows just how hard it is to upgrade our 1st xi.

Be interesting to see what dybala adds to them in two weeks.
Never seen him outside of highlight reels and a ton of hype

Maybe we'll have Toby back in full force by then. I'd certainly drop wanyama in

Think the poor start was in a similar vein to what happened in the CL group stage last year: nerves from a very young side, a side inexperienced in this situation before.

That being said, and what can’t be overstated enough is the courage and mentality to regain control of the game. An attitude of “we’re good enough to get something out of this game”. Can't remember a Tottenham side in my lifetime (26 years) with that mentality.

Nothing phases them, and I fucking love it.

Absolutely knackered from the events in Turin last night. On a train to Milan now and I have zero energy and no voice left but I wouldn’t change that for the world.

Was the best away trip I’ve ever done and the team were just epic and made us proud last night.

Let’s hope we get through this tie now as we certainly deserve to based on last nights efforts.....COYS

Really hope we have Toby back for the return leg. The look really dangerous from corners and and set pieces. We need another good header of the ball in the box.

Dybala and matuidi will make them a much tougher prospect. Will add power in CM and creativity and goals from AM. Saying that the fact they have to score is not their game. Forcing the game is not their natural style and will leave gaps at the back. They will also be under a load a pressure from the media after last night, not just because they lose a 2-0 lead but also the manner. From what I’ve seen they’ve been slated by the ruthless Italian press. Fortunately for us they have a titanic tussle with Napoli for the title. Willl be interesting to see how they react in league next few games.

Just to add as well they have a relatively tough away game to lazio on the Saturday before Wembley. And we are home to Huddersfield probably the fixture we would have hand picked.

Sane back on sub's bench last night, 2 weeks after an expected 6/7 week recovery.
I guess it's got to be helpful that they've got Jesus on the staff to help with these miraculous recoveries. (In much the same way, both de Bruyne and Sterling played on during our December match at the Etihad, despite both being subjected, in Guardiola's eyes, to "potentially career-ending" tackles! :):)

Verts started it with a stupid clearance straight to Pjanic's feet, and Davies compounded it with a daft penalty. Not exactly very young, either of them. It was the youngsters that got us back in it.

So true.

Can’t say I was pretty calm when 2-0 down though after 8 minutes! Mind you, I hate watching on tv most of the time. Lot more relaxed when at a game, we’ll, as relaxed as you can be in such a big fixture!

The response was fantastic. Did the club, us and themselves proud with the way they responded
