From what I can make out I they seem to be in now.

No - look at the North Stand camera (facing south stand). You can see they haven’t done the south end yet, looks like quite a lot to do as well.

Had a thought last night. We don’t want the away fans in the north stand, we want them next to us in the new Park Lane end as before. Perhaps they should have the east stand lower.
East and West stand tickets are always more expensive than behind the goals. Away day trips are already expensive enough, so giving them the cheapest seats is sensible.

I think the rules are the away allocation has to be in one of the stands behind the goal. Obviously some clubs then push them right into the corner whilst others are a bit more generous.

Remember there's the £30 price cap now, so it'd be the club taking a hit if they weren't in the cheap seats.

I think I saw a story about a champions league tie refunding excess ticket prices this week. They overcharged Bayern Munich fans by €30 each i think. Huge refund!

I wasn’t aware of the behind the goal rule! Very interesting
Don’t think it is behind Goal it’s just have to be in the lower tier.

Not sure. At Wembley I spend a lot of time trying to hear the away fans, it’s a sideshow of course but teams like Dortmund fill fhe ground. I hardly heard them lot on Saturday but probably due to distance.

I looked from the camera in the south west stand, so it obviously wasn't the best view. The sun was shining into the lens of the north stand camera when I looked earlier.

Is that an actual consideration? To make away fans look smaller. I’m not so sure, although there must be some calculation of risk. Also I always thought putting the away fans by the west stand made it a lot easier to get away fans in and out from the high road, as the crowd flows to that specific corner. If they put the away lot in the Paxton they will have to travel further.... I guess it could depend on the updated location of away fan coaches?

Edit - also, look at this guy up there!! what a great day to be alive
As with any decision, it's a range of factors. You want to minimise both the loss and impact of away fans at a ground. If they are on the halfway line, that's a lot of lost ticket revenue from home fans who would be paying top dollar to sit there.

It's standard practice.

I've just has another look at the "New South West Corner" from Tower crane 8 and they seem to be there, unless I'm looking at the wrong thing!"

We're looking at different things ... I mean these (circled in red below). You can see them even more clearly on the photo posted up at the top of this page with the man in the orange jacket on top of the ring. I am presuming that these are key to the roof tension structure and thus need to be along the south stand ring as well (which they currently are not). Please note that I know nothing about building or tension cable stadium roofs and am totally guessing.

Ah! Yes, I see. I was looking at the struts that will come out from the edge of the roof and are currently at ground level with the cables attached / being attached.

I'm also a bit like Schultz - I know nothing!

It's more fun watching the web cams as a clueless fan... I imagine it's like watching paint dry for an actual construction expert.

Don’t think they are on north stand. I assume they were where the floodlights go in?

these are temporary to lift the tension cables off the top tier.

It just looks random to me.

BIB:That was my next complaint  - the NW corner. Again, aesthetically I do not like the plans/layout and for some café to be shoved within the concrete structure for the steps, in slightly Brutalist fashion.

I say again, I'll wait for the finished article, but for what will be the main view of the stadium and the 'front door' for the world to see I think it could have been designed a bit better on that side.

Rest easy, the Cafe has gone.
