One of the first thing Poch did was to bin the big egos like Adebayor and Kaboul. He likes a bit of humility from his players and I can't begin to imagine what would happen if he had to deal with the prima donnas at RM or PSG. He hasn't finished what he started here and I can't see him wanting to ditch this project to take on such a challenge. I think he knows what he's got here.

I normally cringe at the amount of money that goes around in football. Poch though, deserves this. Well done to him and his staff.

To add a couple of bits to my previous post, I'd also say that he has built THFC up from a decent outfit into a top class one. That is a huge step and a massive achievement on his part. He has recruited players as much on mentality as ability and has done so within the constraints of a tight budget. We are going toe to toe with clubs that have spent hundreds of millions more than we have and we can still beat any of them. I think Poch is immensely proud of that, and so he should be. Going to a club with limitless cash would be nowhere near what he has done here, and I don't even think it would appeal to him that much when success is expected rather than aspired to.

I just can’t see him spending it. Seems to be working the whole time. Either Mrs Poch is shopping full time or Poch just keeps bringing the squad out for dinner every day. Either way, everyone’s happy with this.
