This might be a bit controversial, but I don't actually want anything more than minimum for a new CL season. Because we are still participating in CL and the cup, it makes no matter to me if we finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th, if finishing 4th is enough for a CL spot and increased cup focus.

kinda agree. Id take it a step further and say I wont be too broken up if Juve knock us out as long as we give a good showing. For me, realistic goals are securing CL football and the FA cup.

Am I greedy ?

I want a CL spot for next season at NWHL, I want to get past Juve and an FA Cup for the new trophy cabinet
would be spiffing.

not greedy at all. Beating Juve would be great. I just dont think we have much of a chance of winning the CL. Fortunately we've got Rochdale between the Juve ties so it wont hurt us this round.

My rationale for beating Juve is that we will go further than Arsenal usually manage.

Not beating teams like West Brom at home is looking worse by the week. Let’s just hope there’s a few twists yet.

As long as those twists don't involve Chelsea getting results from their next two games away in Manchester, or us going back to slipping up in the easier fixtures on paper!

In next 3 games:
Chelsea have united + city both away

United have Chelsea + Liverpool

We have palace Huddersfield Bournemouth if we can take the 9pts we will be comfortable in top 4 imo with 8 games left.

In our last 3 matches we closed the gap on Chelaea to 1 point, bearing in mind we had Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal and Chelsea had Bournemouth, Watford and West Brom yet we were expected to be around 6-10 points behind them. We've done extremely well to close the gap and be in contention of a top four place where we were expected to drop off, we're in the strongest position to finish the highest out of the other 3 teams.

Another bonus is Hopefully city have title wrapped up and are emerged in CL. There’s rarely been a team that hasn’t fallen away once the titles won.

Sorry I probably didn’t word my post very well. What I’m saying is that they still will put 10 men behind the ball for the majority of the match (if not all of it) they might show more ambition late on if they have a chance of winning it but shit teams aren’t going to suddenly come at us

When you get down to last game or 2 and people are going through all the permutations then yeah but still a lot of football between now and then. Lots more ups and downs I’m sure.

this might of already been posted, but Palace, Huddersfield and Bournemouth are not teams that ever try to build a brick wall with 10 men behind it, Newcastle might try it, but a good chance that fixture will be a lot nearer the end of the season now, so won't know how important a point to them will be.

Sorry if already posted but just seen our remaining 11 games. You'd like to think we'd pick up a lot of points from these.

Crystal Palace (a), Huddersfield (h), Bournemouth (a), Newcastle (h), Chelsea (a), Stoke (a), Man City (h), Brighton (a), Watford (h), West Brom (a), Leicester (h).

We just need to keep winning. We have the momentum and are playing some great football. Only city are really playing well out of the other teams and they all have some tough games coming up.

There is no reason why we can't get past Juve, progress in the fa cup and get into the top 4 of the league. We now have a fully fit squad with good attacking options and traditionally under Poch this is the part of the season where we are at our strongest.

Bring it on. We should fear nobody at all, city included!

I honestly can't see us losing anymore games this season. City at home is winnable, but probably a draw. I think we'll overcome another hurdle and stuff Chelsea at the Bridge. We have so many players just coming back from injury. We'll be fresh.

When Chelsea won it, they were probably the worst team ever to have done it. Didn't they have Barca in the Semi and Bayern in the final? Neither teams turned up! It could happen. We're a bloody good team.

It's not just that this is when we are usually at our strongest, we also have a squad with no injuries and so have good options in just about every position. A lot of our rivals have injuries and most other teams are not as fit as us and we seem to start hitting top form around now. It's like the planets are coming in to alignment! :):):)

I see 19 points being super pessimistic. Too many draws against muchness

71 points which may not be enough.

Definitely capable of 28 , one loss against man city, draw chelsea or vice versa
80 points which will be at least 3rd

Hopefully you're right but we're on a high. We'll have a dip. Hopefully it will be slight and wont cost us too many points.

Why will we have a dip? We didn't last year in the second half of the season. In fact we got stronger and our results were won by bigger margins! (I'm always the optimist, as it makes being a Spurs fan bearable)
