I'm not normally one to sign up to opposition forums at all, but I did actually sign up on there as I had a few questions to ask (as I'm going up to Rochdale), and I agree - great bunch.

Also their matchday programme editor is on their forum and reached out to me to do an interview for their "away team" section, so I'll be making sure to get hold of one of the programmes to see that! :ROFLMAO:
Please tell me you haven't done it yet, we can have some fun with this and get a few challenges for things that you can put in.

Kane is bright like dogs bright, his face looks like deer face

From RAWK:

“When they thrashed us 4-1 at Wembley, I would have admitted that they were probably better than us as a whole. It was that result and the capitulation at City that really got to me. Since then, we've picked up more points than them, have scored more goals in the Premier League and overall in all competitions, have lost fewer matches and sit 3rd in the league while they are 5th. Klopp has worked wonders yet again with a squad that was deemed the weakest of the top 5 clubs, excluding Arsenal, during the beginning of the season. Second beat team in England my arse. We're better than them, and I don't care what anyone says. Statistics and the league table doesn't lie, sorry”

His stats seem suspicious at best but even if they are accurate, is he forgetting the last 6 seasons? LOL.

Better than us, ok...the league campaign doesn’t end in February.

Stats and the table only seem not to lie when they favour Liverpool

Last 6 seasons? Isn't it 8 out of the last 9? Or is it 7 out of the last 8?

EDIT: 7 out of 8 is the right answer.

City also thrashed them 5-0 in September, when that slag Mane got sent off.

To be fair, they have done better than us to the tune of 8 points since we beat them at Wembley. Remember we had a pretty dreadful spell in November/December whereas they've been very consistent since then.

Like someone else said, I wouldn't be surprised if we finished above them come the end of the season. I think they'll still have a few fuck ups, it's just whether we will too. You just never know with them. Even after beating Porto away 5-0, I wouldn't be surprised if they go on to drop points at home to West Ham.

‘I would have admitted they were better than us as a whole’ he says after a 4-1 loss. K thx.

To be fair, they have every right to argue that they are the second best team (great argument) because they could well be, but he says stats don’t lie yet fails to mention Utd are still above them, making them officially the 2nd best team in England at the moment.

It’s close between us and Liverpool. No one can deny they’re playing some excellent football and to beat Porto away 5-0 is pretty amazing. Porto aren’t a pushover, they may have lost to Galatasaray recently but they’ve beaten some giants there in the past. They’ve been excellent overall since we thrashed them. And we’ve been excellent in 2018.

I don’t care much for the ‘weakest squad in the top 5’ argument either. They’ve spent much more than we have, it’s not anyone else’s fault if they’ve bought duds. Van Dijk cost more than Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Davies, Trippier and Aurier put together. Salah, Mane and Firminho cost around the same as Kane, Dele, Eriksen, Lamela, Dembele, Son, Winks and Llorente. If they think they have a weak squad they have no one else to blame but themselves.

If this poster was more ‘There isn’t much between Spurs and us’ rather than ‘Second best team in England my arse, we’re better than them and I don’t care what anyone says’ then i’d be more empathetic to their cause. Instead, he’s a RAWKtastic biased spunkmonger who won’t give anyone any credit ever, like most of their posters.

Yeah, who cares if we finish 2nd or 20th, no difference and definitely no affect on our chances of being 1st next season...

Saoirse, I know you probably feel supremely clever with that post of yours, but the posters I was answering too weren't discussing positions at the table, they were debating which is the best team in the league after City. If they were debating what you're implying, then the answer so far would clearly be Manchester United.

They had a few bad results immediately after thrashing City.
