It’s too early to call it either way. We could come up against Champions League teams all the way to the final in both comps if we can get past Rochdale.

Either way it's still our best chance of a trophy, we've only really got ManCity to fear, and even they can be gotten at.

It’s also Rochdale’s best chance of a trophy. That’s how much work there is to do before we can even talk about winning it. We haven’t been to a final in 27 years!

27 years!

It’s absolutely crazy when you see it written down in black and white.

Winning the FA cup this season would be perfect for the club in so many ways.

Get the media of our back and cut down on the their want away chat - perhaps most importantly because I’m sure the coaches/players believe they’re there already.
Give a real boost to everyone going into the new stadium
Further Put us on the map for potential signings
Reset the years since a trophy
Install that ‘winners’ belief and get the ball rolling on our hopefully more to come.

If we do get to the semi final or final would the teams we face be any weaker than those in the champions league?

Either will be difficult to win.

If we get to the final of the champions league we wouldn't be playing at home...
