Why will we have a dip? We didn't last year in the second half of the season. In fact we got stronger and our results were won by bigger margins! (I'm always the optimist, as it makes being a Spurs fan bearable)

As i said hopefully we don't lose points but we have been playing some very high intensity games and i'm not sure we can keep that up till the end of the season.
Hope i'm wrong cause we could win every game.
Just trying to manage expectations.

That is the sensible thing to do, but I'd still like a bit of wild dream now and then. Now my dream is winning both the CL and the FA Cup, and going 2nd in the EPL.

Amazing stat I wasn’t aware of

“Spurs have lost a Premier League game by more than a single goal just four times since the beginning of the 2015/16 season; in the same span, Manchester United have lost by at least two clear goals seven times, Manchester City nine times, Chelsea 10, Liverpool 11 and Arsenal 12”

To be fair we didn't have the FA Cup or the CL to balance on the run-in though mate, that being said I think we will be fine, we have a young team and they have the best fitness coach in the league bar none managing them.

Did I imagine watching that amazing FA Cup semi against Chelsea?

Normally that might be the case but unlike anyone else in top 6 we've just got 4 arguable starting 11 players back from long injuries and Moura will be fresh as well.
We've got 2 games left against top 6 while Man U and Chelski have 4.
I think we'll finish 2nd or 3rd.

COYS.

Edit- Oh and we look mustard while Man U and Chelsea look a shambles :)

A lot of the top 6 are playing each other in the next 3 gameweeks...

Utd v Chelsea
City v Arsenal
City v Chelsea
Utd v Liverpool

If we can keep focussed and pick up the points I expect us too, we should make good inroads into the top 4.

Didn’t we only lose one of our last 14 games last season...winning all the others?...stunning form....anything similar and we’ll finish second.

Close, we lost 1 of our last 13 games and won the rest. Stunning form neverthless!

Crazy that top 4 will probably take 78 pts imo. That’s lose 1 draw 2 win 8 from here sounds about right. That’s same total Leicester got to win title. And I’d imagine close to highest ever to get top 4.

Was really looking forward to our game on Friday night football, against Newcastle on March 16, but have just seen the QFs of FA Cup our scheduled for that weekend.

Assuming we advance that means our game with Newcastle will get moved? FFS.

Yep, it'll get punted into a midweek slot somewhere.

Arse's 75p last season is the highest total to ever finish outside the top 4. That may well be beaten this year.

Actually think it’s 79pts in 13/14 by them. And sorry Leicester was 81pts.
We're talking about two different stats. 13/14 they were 4th but Everton were 5th with 72. Arse's total last season is the highest total to miss out on top 4.

Annoying Liverpool will have a PL game home to Watford. So will be playing catch up till Newcastle game is rearranged, which is never good psychologically.
