Will be absolute madness on matchday let’s be honest. An extra 25k I really can’t imagine it. Will be like those busy days on Oxford st when you literally can’t walk on the pavement cause it’s so rammed.
Can’t be worse than 80000 down Olympic Way

Yeah I remember as a kid late 70s early 80s the high road almost became pedestrian

The theory is all well and good. But I still expect matchdays to be “lively” lol. Tbh as long as it’s not impeding walking freely it will only add to atmosphere. Surrounding area will be heaving, fantastic for local businesses. Actually watched a YouTube thing on West Ham done by that new action group . Was actually really good, showed how all the local outlets round Upton Park are dying one by one . Almost felt bit sorry for them, however much take piss out of West Ham supporters they are probably closest to us as a group more so than Chelsea or Arsenal more authentic and down to earth. Anyways we really are very lucky to be able to have kept our home at WHL.
All the more reason to head to the pubs after the game

Hopefully the bars in the stadium are decent and well priced.
Wonder if they will remain open after the game .? They close them at Wembley which is a real pain. I’d rather stay in the stadium have a beer or two than stand queuing for an hour on Wembley Way.

Or just go to the pubs around tottenham. Support them

I believe that they have said that some will stay open as they want to stagger fans leaving. They will also i believe be open before the game.

Anything less than 40k for the test events would cause issues surely - it'd mean Season Ticket holders missing out on the first ever events at NWHL.

IIRC they can't charge for test events. The test events are required before any form of licence can be granted. It's been a long time since I was involved (on the periphery only) in anything like this and I can't remember all of the details, but I think that tickets were issued, but they were free. I'm sure someone will correct me where I'm wrong!

No, I think you're right, but was assuming/hoping said free tickets would be included with STs. Would be seriously annoying if the people paying in the region of £1,000 a year to watch us there weren't the first to experience the place.

Any new naming rights rumors? Its almost March. The stadium is supposed to open opens in 5 months. And no naming rights have been revealed yet.
Information earlier in the thread about an official opening of the stadium in March hopefully with the roof on so we may hear something then.

A Mickey Mouse friendly or a test event do not bother or interest me

The first home league game is where it’s at. Nothing else matters

Whatever floats your boat, but personally the first time the New Park Lane sings Oh When The Spurs, I want to be there.

The first NLD is where it’s at. I’ll obviously be there in August but it won’t be full until we have a real game against a real rival

You could probably fill the NWHL twice over for the first League game. Everyone will want to be there. Hopefully it’s v a 'big side' but none the less it’ll all be about the occasion
