Not sure why some are writing him off tbh, this could end up being the kick up the arse he needed.
Hopefully this experience at Norwich will finally get through to him that the problem is with him, not Poch or our setup.

Ideal world the whole XI will be products of our youth system.

Never compromise the quality of the side. Edwards and co have a tough job trying to crack our first team. That’s exactly how it should be. Kane saw off Soldado and Adebayor. It shouldn’t be easy for youth players to make the transition.

To be fair Kane had it easier. The two players in front of him one couldn't score and the other couldn't give a shit. Getting into the first team ahead of Eriksen, Alli, Son and Lamela is much harder.

He wouldn’t be training with poch though.

If he’s got attitude and application problems it’s better he’s out of his comfort zone at Norwich than having it nice in our comfortable training facilities.

Fair point. I would just prefer him learning with us than sitting it out at Norwich.

Most people on here, myself included, thought Kane wasn’t gonna make it. I have learnt to never make rash judgements. The worrying thing is that it is his attitude that has been questioned rather than his talent, we have seen so many like him at ourselves and other clubs over the years. Let’s hope the penny drops at Norwich what it takes to make it.

Well he's still only 23 so he has time to change, as for inconsistent performances Dembele had plenty of them for about 3 seasons before he produced his best form, even the first half of this season he was inconsistent.

If it hasn't clicked now attitude wise then there's a problem there.

Having seen Edwards play probably 30 times I find it remarkable he can’t get in this Norwich squad.

It's not just about ability, it's about attitude and mentality. Poch has alluded to his attitude before and needing him to mature.

Saying it’s attitude prob sounds harsh I think it’s more to do with Edwards development in other areas of his game, the ones that probably do not come naturally.

I realise that but why take him on loan. Norwich must have spoken to us about his attitude. Surly you take a loan for immediate impact. They still had a chance of play offs in January. Will be gone after this result today. Honestly if I take a kid on loan for 4 months and he’s better than someone in my squad I couldn’t give a monkeys if his attitude stinks he isn’t my problem long term. I mean Norwich are a football club not some youth rehabilitation centre. Just all seems very odd. .

Not true at all. Most people who actually watched him on his loan spells could see there was a very good chance of him becoming successful with us. None of us could’ve predicted he’d become one of the top strikers in the world of course.

I think Edwards and Onomah could learn a lot from Alli, he’s still got an immaturity, attitude and arrogance about him but from the moment he signed the feedback we got was he constantly worked his bollocks off in training and was given a chance to impress... he hasn’t looked back since. Edwards and Onomah are both talented players but if you’re not prepared to put in the hard work ala Taarabt then you’re never going to fulfil your goals/capabilities.

How Kane can't be the perfect example to our young players about what you can achieve if you work hard, then they've got no hope.

"I think it's a great opportunity for him to step up, move there and try - in three and a half months - to try to get more mature and to try to compete after spending maybe half his life in Tottenham’s academy.

This is probably why, getting him out of his comfort zone so he can learn new experiences, Poch knows he has the ability but he needs to mature as a man and that means he has to fight for a starting spot in the Norwich team. Just because he's on loan the Norwich manager doesn't have an obligation to play him and if he stays at Spurs then what else is he gonna learn?
