Rose has had his worst game in years

Some of the other players are having bad games, but he doesn't look interested today. Not sure if he's just really unfit at the moment? Hopefully he picks up in the second half.

It just highlights just how influential Eriksen is for us in how we play - dropping deeper picking the ball starting attacks and helping the central midfield out.

The guile and work rate of Lamela for Sissoko would be much needed and possibly bringing on Alli for Winks too.

Longer this goes on then the obvious increased likelihood is of Kane coming on for Llorente although maybe Poch looks for two up - not my preference but can see this happening.

The Harry Winks bubble has burst.

He’s cocky and does very little on the ball now.

If we wanted a lightweight midfielder who can only pass sideways, we would’ve kept Tom Carroll.
Based on his last few performances couldn't agree more - but believe he is capable of better.
We are however losing the central midfield battle.

Llorente's bad form is scraping the bottom of the barrel, surely he is going to get a bit better soon? Can't get any worse.

I was just typing "watch Sissoko's movement when we don't have the ball" when that happened. Just watch what Sissoko does when Winks is on the ball and looking for a pass. He just runs away and hides.

This is what people object to with the sissoko hate, not the genuine criticism of his ability but the incessant scapegoating.

That was winks' fault, he had so many options that he didn't take and it's his responsibility and yet you've looked for a way to turn it against sissoko

Llorente is only any good for playing a one-two with on the edge of their area. For running in behind, getting in the box for crosses, or even winning flick ons he is a total liability. So immobile and lethargic.

No, I agree. Dier gets dogs abuse despite regularly playing well in midfield. Without him and Dembele it's a shambles.
Sorry. Probably too pissed off with their performance that I didn't read your post clearly.

By doing what exactly?

And what has Wanyama done, other then looking like Bambi on ice? Son can’t even control the ball today and Rose can barely find a white shirt.

We all know Sissoko is crap, but it just seems every time we don’t do well as a team Sissoko just gets blamed regardless. It’s fucking tedious.

We really learnt from Newport didn't we.... same fucking shit and we may not get away with it this time...!

Lets wait and see, but Wanyama, Rose have been shocking

Son has been absolutely shit, well out of form

We need Lamela on for Son and hope we can get back in this but seriously we aint winning this cup so maybe going out gives us chance to focus on top 4 / CL, which some fans are happy with. I want trophies but clear Poch don't yet, listen to his press conf yesterday and the performances in the League and FA Cup this year... we got lucky against Wimbledon too
Trouble is, if not the FA cup when do we win something? PL - no chance; CL - we have been great but still unlikely. I don't want us just to be aiming for top 4 and a good CL run every season. Sport is about winning trophies.

Completely unacceptable, because the last words at the end there from Danny fucking Murphy of all people summed it up - repeating the same mistakes and have not learnt any lessons from the previous round.

Firstly, far too fucking casual. And there are a few players who don't look like they want to be out there. Foyth too casual at times. Wanyama ditto and is just strolling. Rose is not even fucking bothering to break into a jog or put in a challenge. Son is just pissing about. Alderweireld looks slow, Winks doesn't look sharp or in any rhythm and got robbed for the goal. Sissoko is being Sissoko.

Then there is just making a rod for your own back. We're playing on a pitch that is basically a big sheet of corrugated iron, bobbling and bouncing with each pass. Why do we pass it round our own third, and invite the pressure? The one bit of our play that has been fairly good and getting some joy is going direct into Llorente (missed chance or not) and having runners going off him. Yet we cant adapt to what is happening and continue to piss about too much with the ball and invite pressure - that's alright if you have the ability to play through it, problem is from the display so far we cant......

I don't see how we've rocked up again with a lazy attitude and silly gameplan lacking in intensity, but we have. We'll be out if that doesn't change second half.
