Sissoko has lately been playing less than two minutes of the most important stretch of 360 minutes of football this season, being virtually completely left out vs. opponents like Arsenal, United, Liverpool and Juventus. But it is the "Sissoko is divine"-camp who has the audacity to point fingers.

There is no “rightly” about it, he was shit up until the assist, he wasn’t the worst player on the pitch but he certainly was putting in a typical Sissoko performance, which is, a lot of effort but producing nothing.

You never want to see fault in him because your opinion exists within a bubble, I have seen many people here who were criticising him saying he made a great pass, that’s called having critical thinking ability and being able to seperate bias from logic.

It was a good pass in an overall poor performance, just because he makes that pass doesn’t mean it invalidates all the warrented criticism he received before that, the only people who think in absolutes like that are the type of people who should never be taken seriously.

And it wasn’t a bullshit statement, the second that pass went through I could feel the rush of prepubescent fingers smacking against the keys ready to unleash some internet justice on the Sissoko “haters”

Doesn't matter what you felt, there was more posts celebrating then calling out the sissoko scapegoaters. Fact.

Also before you get on the intellectual high ground, no one has ever argued sissoko is a perfect footballer, I've constantly said he lacks ability but today again it was unfair for people to single him out when he was actually creating stuff and playing decent.

So can I join the critical thinking/logic gang aswell? Or is it just for people who unfairly criticise players? It sounds a barrel of laughs
