Obviously its not ideal conceding last minute but we will go through comfortably and it gives some of the players who Poch may need another 90 minutes

I was talking to a utd fan on Friday and he said we should win. I said we'd draw, so I'm not that disappointed, just knew we wouldn't take it seriously.

He would quite correctly expect the team to be able to beat Rochdale, but there were poor decisions being made in the first half. I think that Pochettino clearly does not rate the FA cup as highly as the Champions League or the EFL, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't rate it at all.
Expected them to beat Rochdale. Expected them to beat Newport. There's something fundamentally wrong with the mentality somewhere.

Not the end of the world. We'll beat them at Wembley and plenty of our squad need the minutes, apart from Sissoko, obviously, who should never play another single minute of football for the rest of his life.
Clearly, he shouldn't have laid on the assist for the first goal, because it probably caused you to be incontinent. On that basis alone, and to save us from your verbal diarrhoea, he should never play for us again.

Disagree. It’s squad management. He needs to give the chance to the back up players so they get minutes and match fitness, also it’s important for squad morale to share the minutes, if these players don’t get started in these kind of games then it shows a complete lack of faith in them. He also needs to rest the main team when we have so many games still. These games are never easy, it’s the smaller teams biggest game of their lives. Good we got the draw and hopefully that same ‘2nd team’ can make a better job of it at home.

Agree with this.

Also agree with whoever it was said we can't do the same against Swansea or Wednesday cos we'll get done.

Another needless replay and whilst it's 'another opportunity for squad rotation/minutes etc' I'm really unenthused with the mentality and application from these 'fringe' players.

Why can we never seemingly control the damn midfield and dictate play and tempo?! Are we that solely reliant on one player (Eriksen) for this?! Worrying if so.

Son was at his frustratingly bumbling worst - no more so than in the dying minutes instead of whipping it in with his left he turns and promptly loses possession and there goes the full time whistle, urgghhh....

No doubt it's a great result for Rochdale - gives them their day in the sun and a nice payday but ultimately we only have ourselves to blame in not seeing this one out.

Not disappointed at all. Rochdale deserve their day and we are through. It gives our very rusty squad players some much needed game time.

I wonder if we are going to get recognized for our charitable work assisting lower league sides at the end of the season.

I was fuming when he played the kids in the semi-final last year. TAKE IT SERIOUS POCH!
Naaaaaah. From today's performance and team selection we've got a whole 2nd 11 in need of game time. Worked out pretty well really. Another game for them.

I don’t doubt he’ll play the first team in a semi final. Silly comment.

We could’ve easily got knocked out today. And with that draw we’ve got a semi final on a plate. I’m not commenting on whether he was right or wrong, but cup is clearly not a priority.

Isn't Poch learning a a bit about those players who can't seem to get the job done against League 1 teams? This was a better balanced side than played Newport away.

This means the Palace game moves from the Mon night, that is a result if nothing else as hate playing Monday nights...!

Annoying though another midweek game, need to enjoy this week off as it be our last week off for a while.

But still in the cup, fair play to Rochdale but we should play reserves at Wembley again and get the job done, but just before playing Huddersfield at home and the big Juve game

Are Sky going to allow it to be moved and not have a televised game that night? It'll probably just be that Wednesday and we'll have two games in three days. Can't have it this week as Rochdale have a game with Franchise FC. Can't be the week after our Palace game as we've got Juventus.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying (poorly) to say :D

conceding that second goal was criminal. only 4 spurs players back defending with a lead in stoppage time? dreadful.

The only worrying thing for me is that this second string don't show the burning desire to get into the first team. Results like this don't bode well for certain players who probably believe they are first teamers but might find they are no longer..

Bit of a silly take, given that the only genuine “second string” players in the XI today were Vorm and Foyth, who both played perfectly well.
