Really hope the off colour performances we’ve seen are just him returning to fitness and not related to his contract talks.

I'm more worried that its the long-term effect of the injuries.

Whatever the reason, his performance has bought Poch a few matches without having to answer some reporter questioning why Toby is not in the lineup.

It might just be me (high possibility), but he looked totally disinterested imho, I also thought it telling that Vorm was given the captains armband, really thought that would be on Toby's arm? I just think there is more to it than off performances, and lack of match fitness...

Pretty sure Vorm has been captain before. I would guess Rose would have been 2nd choice - Poch seems to go with team seniority, once it gets beyond Lloris, Kane, and Vertonghen.

Is he expendable due to his injury record, and recovery time?

Has his ridiculous agents done him any favours?

Agree on the long term effects. Today was very worrying for me against the lowest quality. Already had 90 mins and been in full training 3 weeks. When I saw that clip on Friday of moura skinning him 3 times I just put it down to being a training session. But these serious hamstrings can really take the edge off a player, I hope that’s not the case here.

Just looks heavy and a bit sluggish. In fact, I actually think he was starting to look a little heavy even prior to his injury, but not to this extent.

Good runout for him. What we saw on the pitch backs up what we knew ie he is not going to be match fit for a while. The way the game is played today defenders and midfielders who are not at 100% are a real liability. Hopefully a few more weeks will see him ready. Good job we brought quality defenders in last summer

Gone? Sale? Not accepting contract in summer which was verbally agreed? Agents playing a game of contradiction with other clubs, who have not bid, or indicated they will? Abroad (Spain)?

I personally would sell him.

Let's show Toby that we can challenge for serious honours.

Let's go deep in the CL and maybe even win it.
