I disagree. That eleven would win 9 out of 10 times against Rochdale, it was just a bad day. Had this team beaten Rochdale by 2 or 3 nil which they are more than capable of doing, I am sure you would not now be questioning Poch's selection. We lost the game through sloppiness and bad or indifferent attitude, which was out of Poch's control. To question his integrity with regards to the importance of the game seems a bit Knee Jerky in my book, something you are always quick to criticise others of in the past.
Firstly, we didn't lose the game. Secondly, I'm not questioning his integrity, I said "if he does this again" so that's in your head along with it being knee-jerk. Thirdly, this 'bad day' was a repeat of what happened against Newport, the sloppiness and or indifferent attitude which you yourself say we suffered from are exactly in Poch's control, something we've seen twice running against lower league opposition and what I'm actually referring to.

Haven't seen any of the game, only highlights.

Am sure its been covered on here but not going to trawl through 84 pages.

The players should be ashamed in the manner they conceded the last goal. Defending a slender lead and you know Rochdale is going to throw everything but the kitchen sink in getting an equaliser and it was 4 v 7 in Rochdale's favour in our defensive third. Fairly inexcusable, showing a poor attitude and clear lack of respect for our our opponent.

Difference yesterday from the previous game was that Newport should of and desered to win we were simply shit on the day, as for yesterday we had chances to have killed off the tie but failed due to poor finishing and over playing.
I don't think our defending has been as good this year we seem more vulnerable and switch off maybe a bit more than last season, that's three consecutive 2-2 draws now I think sometimes we struggle to kill the game off away from home.

Well, getting only a draw and thus needing to go for a replay has at least 1 positive: Spurs' "reserves" are getting some touch/well-needed match-practice  Plus, Spurs get some cup practice on Wembley - so they are well prepared for the FA Cup final on, of course, the same ground. IF Spurs should beat Rochdale and I reckon they should go for a draw again in the quarter-final so they can again play a cup game a Wembley :D

I think I'm missing something here. First up, did we lose? Could be mistaken but don't think we did. Second, we played away to a shit side playing their cup final with fuck all to lose. We're you expecting to stroll it?

If anyone was, then they shouldn’t have. Wycombe at home last season seems to have been easily forgotten.

In future i think poch needs to play half the first team for some continuity and then play players who need fitness that are considered first team players.

Moura rose alderweirled vorm wanyama trippier should have played with 5 first team regulars and not players like foyth llorente sissoko who just wont play a big role in the big games

Llorente & Sissoko should be more than experienced enough to cope with games like yesterday.
Foyth will only develop by playing.

Just a slack attitude (generally) by most of them yesterday I’m afraid.
Pick that exact team in the replay & we’ll win comfortably; so you have to ask the question why was it a struggle just because it was away from home.

the players looked understandably rusty so im pleased they have another chance to get game time as well as try to persuade that manager that they deserve to start at the weekends. From what i saw, the only one currently making that case is Lucas.

Are they really? It was a blatant penalty, but clearly as it was Alli well then obviously he dived. He could get shot in the face when through on goal and the media will still say he dived.

exacty, if he was rugby tackled in the box, then had his face punched in and a few teeth kicked out he would still be accused of diving

Seemed yesterday that Wanyama was either told to, or just decided to play exactly how Dembele does. He often recieved the ball from the CB's turned and tried to run with it, only to be tackled or dispossessed. It happened time and time again.

By media, you may include social media: the internet may short-circuit due to the tears of Liverpool fans, because they still can't get over the result at Anfield.

Expected them to beat Rochdale. Expected them to beat Newport. There's something fundamentally wrong with the mentality somewhere.

That's on Poch, his team are an exact embodiment of his mentality, seems like he doesn't treat the teams with respect and that transcends to the players.

Oh well a replay against a lower decision team is hardly gonna hurt us, it will actually help those who need it get more game time and a nice kick about at Wembley.

I think the fact we play our home games at Wembley this year has added a clear extra factor to these away games at lower league opposition, they know that with a draw they get to play at Wembley. While you might argue that lower league teams always play the game of their lives when they come up against PL opposition, there's always the thought in the back of their minds that getting a draw or even beating a top team only means fame for a week at the most and in the next round they're going to probably get beat and there it all ends. But having the very tangible fact of a replay and day out at Wembley that will stay with you forever is an extra boost that doesn't normally exist.

Add that to 11 changes and a team that doesn't play together week in week out and lots of players lacking match fitness and it's not surprising at all we're getting taken to replays.

It wouldn't surprise me if it happens again in the next round and we end up winning all our FA cup games at Wembley this year and end up lifting the trophy.
