Get a lifeI hate him and I would sing the song
Get a lifeI hate him and I would sing the song
One rule for us and another rule for other fans
We can be very hypercritical
I’ve never sung the 'When Rsol dies' song and I also dislike the 'Kick his fucking head in'
Maybe I’m getting old and I’m more sober at footy than I used to be!
It made matters worse that it was so audible on the telly. I must admit I was embarrassed at times
For me their is a line and some songs cross it

Mate, they are songs, we have rap music out there that encourages killing people and calling women bitches and hoes and yet politically correct snowflakes have no issue with that at all, actually it’s the most popular genre of music isn’t it?
But you sing a song at a football game and it’s suddenly the end of the world?
Now, I draw the line at homophobia and Racism and I do admit, I find it tasteless wishing death upon someone, I mean I actually doubt any of those fans want to see him dead (I certainly hope not anyway) but I personally think calling him a **** is completely acceptable given what he did to us, he is a **** in general anyway quite frankly, I guess when you treat people like shit you should probably expect the same treatment back, if anything it’s karma.
I don't like hearing it at all.
Swearing, singing, banter with opposition fans and against opposition teams is part of football and why I love it but essentially most of it is tongue in cheek.
When you start singing about having a party when someone dies then you just look like you haven't grown up yet. I don't like what Sol did but it hasn't cost me a thought in over 15 years.
If he has suffered from mental illness (and there is some evidence that he may have) then the songs are absolutely comparable with racism, homophobia or anti-Semitism. Homo-sexuals and Jews don't require any more protection than the mentally ill. They all have histories of discrimination against them.
Stand up if you hate Arsenal....do you?

Never understood the issue some of the sensitive fans have with the 'you're fucking shit' song.
No different from 'He left cos you're shit, (insert player name here), he left cos you're shit'.
I take it you have an issue with that one as well?
Class? what a load of old twaddle....you're being super sensitive. It's not about being sensitive, it's about class.
That song is fine if we're trouncing a side who are bigger than us. It only works as mock chanting. 3-0 up at Arsenal? Fine. Leading Liverpool 4-1 at the Lane after that performance by them? Sure.
Anything less is a) too close so tempting fate (you're a numpty if you're doing it at 1 or 2 goals up) or b) completely disrespectful to other sides who we should be beating, so it's just plain arrogant and nasty.
For me, there are only 5 clubs in the league we should ever sing that against – perhaps six if you want to include West Ham or another tasty London rival of your choice – and we should be whopping them to do it. Yet it's aired all the time, at the most pointless moments.
When we, more than any team, have an actual term, 'Spursy' used to describe how we always find a way of messing it up, I just find it an utterly bizarre catchphrase of a song for us to have developed. It shows a complete lack of self-awareness.
The club is doing everything right in the 'doing things the right way' department and for me it's completely undermined by the classless fans cheering "La la you're shit!" at Swansea or West Brom or whatever. It's just stupid.
Good player though...back in the dayThe only thing keeping Campbell relevant is the singing of songs about him. I despise it, I don't care what they contain, it's no worse than any other brain dead football fans, but the subject of him is what ****s me off the most.
Fuck him, forget about him. Remember him for the **** that he was and still is when he appears on TV, don't give him the chance to play the victim because as long as we keep abusing him he will keep using it.
We have such good things/players to sing about, I just cannot for the life of me work out why we still waste oxygen on this ****.
