hmmm. We have a great first team. The squad is proving itself somewhat turgid if we’re homest

wgat about on the strength of the season? Dropping Son is not ok imo

The squad is fine, when we don't play with key first teamers (Eriksen, Kane, Dembele) we suffer as a team, take 3 key players out of any team and they'd suffer.

Nah.. We have great strength in depth, but when we play a second string we tend to try and prove the only as strong as your weakest link maxim.

And Sissoko and llorente.

No team is fluent and on top form when they make 11 changes. It's a great idea in theory, but generally always pretty terrible in practice. That doesn't take anything away from the strength of the squad.

No I agree, our strength is borderline ridiculous.

Just think Rose, Toby, Lamela, Victor, lucas all even 100% fit for Sunday may not make the first 11.

Nice bench.

I thought this was going to be one of those joint Spurs Palace 11s, like what Lawro makes on the bbc.

I’m disappointed now.

I think we've been too exposed at the back in recent games (even against Juve) using the 4-2-3-1 so i'd like us to revert to a back three for more security. Dier is also very good at sweeping things up behind the lines and we know Palace will try to counter attack us.

Plenty of options from the bench to change it if things go tits up.

Lloris
Dier Sanchez Vertonghen
Aurier----------------------------Davies
Wanyama Dembele
Dele Eriksen
Kane
Vorm, Trippier, Rose, Winks, Lucas, Lamela, Son

I've picked my team based on how i'd rotate come the juve game. We need to wrap this games up early and rest mousa

Definitely. I always think away games under the lights are harder, crowd is far more reactive.

The 12.00 kick off is great, atmosphere is nowhere near as raucous.

Also, if we win, we'll immediately put Chelsea under pressure who play away to United.

Oh yeah completely forgot that would mean we now play before Chelsea. Think that's a double bonus, means we can put them under pressure and maybe not feel as much pressure ourselves.

Can't see us changing what's gotten us great results and performances against the toughest of opposition. Not saying I think in every case we should just use what's worked and never change regardless of the opposition but I don't think this is the time to. I think any exposure in recent games has come from individual errors as opposed to an open system. I thought we were pretty untroubled against Arsenal, United and Juventus.
