I couldn’t believe it when the ref only had a yellow in his hand.

Looked like a red to me but have to see it again, looked like he came in with his studs completely showing.

Definitely a red. But the ref had a yellow in his hand, so can see why they’re annoyed at that in particular.

You cant really complain about that - studs up, full extension of the leg, and he left the ground diving in. The ref hasn't done well there though, purely on process. He's got a yellow card out, and then after being surrounded by Wigan players changes it to a red. I think that's what has pissed off Pep, and even though its funny seeing it happen to the big team against the underdogs, you can see why an opposition manager would get annoyed if they think a team has influenced the ref.
