Poch can't fuck around though. Has to be proper starting 11s in next two FA games. Take no chances. Make sure we get to semis.

Hmmm I agree about the Swansea/Sheffield game but I'd be happy with a similar team to the one that played yesterday but with big guns ready for Rochdale.

I really don't think they'll trouble us again and some of those players from yesterday desperately need minutes so they can be useful in the latter part of the season if neeeded

Pep arguing with one of Wigan backroom staff, giving it large but the Wigan bloke wasn't small and could easier spark out guardiola

Just seen it. Peter Reid was down there. Guardiola would make a mistake going after him.

Just watched it. What's the controversy? Two footed, off the ground, catches him high. Clear red card.

Start strong, finish them in the first half and then make early changes.

Just knock the wind out of them, take control and run the game.

Really want City to lose this. No other reason than so it fires up Pep and they give Arsenal a battering on Sunday.

Oh, and would make our FA Cup run that bit easier!

Definitely a red. But the ref had a yellow in his hand, so can see why they’re annoyed at that in particular.

In ref speak it's called a match critical incident. It's a moment that the ref team needs to get correct even if it takes a little extra time. In this situation, I'm guessing either the 4th official or the AR on that side saw Taylor pull out the yellow and told him it should be red. Referees work with the same small group of assistants to build trust in each other. It's why assistant refs are confident to say something should be a red or a PK because they're a team.
