Different World class players in different times (outfield players only!)
off the top of my head! That i have seen play for us.

In the 60s
Jimmy Greaves
Dave Mackay
Danny Blanchflower
John White

In the 70s
Alan Gilzean (played 60s and 70s)
Martin Peters
Alan Mullery (played 60s and 70s)
Glenn Hoddle

In the 80s
Chris Waddle
Ossie Ardiles
Glenn Hoddle

In the 90s
Paul Gazza
Gary Lineker
David Ginola

In the 90s/00s
King Ledley
Jurgen Klinsmann
Teddy Sheringham

Luka Modric
Dimi Berbatov
Gareth Bale
Rafa VDV

Now
Harry Kane
Jan Vertonghen
Toby Aldeweireld
Christian Eriksen
Mousa Dembele

I can't get down to 3 in any 10 year period!
When I look at that list, It shows me what a big club we have always been, even if the giant has been asleep for long periods.
That is further reinforced by the amount of fans we have had at Wembley.

Supported spurs since 94/95.

Anderton. He is the reason I support Spurs. My favourite player as a kid, the reason I played on the wing, and the player I always wanted to be on the playground.

Bale. Unbelievable player. I've never witnessed a player in our shirt be able to win games single-handedly time and time again like he did.

Kane. For spearheading us to the 2018/19 quadruple.
I nearly mentioned "sick note" Anderton.

Was that his nickname? It was sick (something)

Ossie

Hoddle

Gazza

Edit: so want to include Kane in this. Best striker in my lifetime. But no! guns sticking I said it I meant it.

Yeah, I'd probably have to say that. I mean, I loved Waddle, Ledley, Berba, Modric and others, and right now Eriksen, Kane, and Vertonghen, but it comes down to those three. If Ardiles was playing now, with the protection that players get, he would be just unbelievable.

Serious question.

How would you compare Greaves to Kane?

Not necessarily in styles but enjoyment watching them?

I have enjoyed watching both but the balance has to tip in favour of Greaves...I thought long and hard how to describe why I think this and the best I can offer is that Harry Kane scores goals whereas Greaves used to also create them as well. There will be a final ball through to Harry and he will despatch it into the net with a natural instinct that thrills the soul but there would be a pass to Greaves and he would slip like a shadow past a couple of defenders with the ball tied to his boots and then nonchalantly guide it past the keeper. He had a certain finesse to his game that is difficult to describe...I don't know if anyone who has also seen both players on a pitch would agree but for me Jimmy had me mesmerised which is slightly above thrilled. Close call but Mr Greaves takes the prize.

Hoddle - by far and away the best player I have seen live. Absolute magician with the ball.

Bale - loved that it took so long for him to get started but boy what a player he became, literally carried the team for 2 years just a shame we lost him just as the pieces of the jigsaw were coming together.

Graham Roberts - just Spurs through and through, an absolute beast in defence and put himself in harms way for the cause on so many occassions.

Honorable mentions for Berbatov, Ossie, Ledley and Ginola who could all have made the 3 on a different day. Also a soft spot for Steve Archibald who invited a group of us to play tennis in Tuckers Park Enfield when I was about 13 and an odd one but John Duncan who as an 8 year old at the time was the player I always wanted to be in the playground even if in hindsight he was very ordinary in a very poor Spurs team

Impossible for me to narrow it down to three.

I saw Mackay, Greaves, Hoddle, Gazza,...that’s four and I’ve left out Steve Perryman and Ledley, as well as Kane, which is just wrong...I give up.

Hoddle - the reason why I started supporting Spurs as a boy, effortless in everything he did, had a little cry when I found out he was leaving us after the 87 cup final.

Gazza - one of the best complete midfielders I have seen in a Spurs shirt. As Someone said, the UK Maradona. Glided though teams, could pick a pass, amazing free kicks, box to box, never give up attitude, a natural finisher, and deceptively quick. Still haven’t had an English midfielder as good as him.

Ginola - carried us through the dark times, not many goals to his name but lightened up the pitch with his grace and made me remember why I started supporting Spurs.

Bale - our very own Ronaldo, what a sight to behold in full flow.

Kane - the re awakening of Tottenham Hotspur

Klinsmann - never in a millions years did I ever think we would get a player of his stature at his peak. Amazing in his 1st season and the last decent striker we had during the Sugar Era.
Signing someone like Aguero would be the equivalent for me in this day an age. Absolutely insane.

Other players I marvelled at, Modric, Berbatov, VDV, Dembele, Lineker, Nico Clasen, Anderton, Ledley, Barmby....

I can’t narrow it down as they all meant something in different periods of me following Spurs.

Shringham was my favourite player for many years. Didn't make the cut though. Waddle was also great as was klinnsman, ginola and bale.

You cannot change the past so I will freely admit Sol Campbell was one of mine until he went rogue! ( I am being polite) :(
